My mother says the BEST puzzles are Ravensburger puzzles! I always get my mom puzzles for her bday and Christmas because she loves them. Puzzles are also great to keep our brains sharp and help prevent dementia.

We love the Large Format Puzzles from Ravensburger. The quality is amazing and if you're an avid puzzler, I highly recommend this brand. Our family particularly likes the large format, especially my kids. I find these puzzles are a great way to stimulate our brains and enjoy it at the same time. It also gets my kids away from the electronics without much of a fight. The pieces connect smoothly and the back is fuzzy. Which makes them great to put together if you have a puzzle board. The only thing I would note is when you open the puzzle pieces for the first time, so it on a surface that is easy to clean. There will be very fine blue particles (from the backing) that may not be as easy to clean up on certain surfaces. However, its very easy to wipe up on a smooth hard surface.

Another fun puzzle from Ravensburger. The various animal puzzles are some of the best I have completed. Colorful and very relaxing working on it.

This puzzle is great cuz it’s quite difficult. This puzzle is awful cuz it’s got bitty pieces that don’t easily make sense either by shape or coloring. The piece colors often varied just a bit from the box picture and this complicated the process. Plus, the person who designed the cut of the pieces was talented at figuring out how to cut this puzzle to make it extra frustrating and sometimes annoying. I picture him / her sniggering over our frustrations as we work at this puzzle. Ok. My daughter helped. It was by far the hardest puzzle I’ve done.

My wife enjoys making puzzles in the evenings and she has tried a number of them over the years. There is no doubt that Ravensburger Puzzles are the finest made and they are the only type she will buy. I could say she loves them, but since they cannot love her back I would say that they are very enjoyable to put together. She can do one of these 500 piece puzzles in about 3 hours.

I almost gave up on this one! I had pieces together that didn't actually match, the colors are misleading and the cut of the pieces seem to be designed to trick you. But I had so much fun putting this together! I've been doing puzzles only a short time and I was definitely challenged here.

This was the fifth puzzle from Ravensburger that I had put together. The others took less than a week, even the harder ones. This one took me almost two months. As mentioned in other reviews, some of the pieces fit multiple places, which makes it very frustrating. The colors of the parrots and the fronds also were a challenge. At times I thought that there were pieces missing because of the frustration of finding the right places. Additionally, when I removed a piece that appeared to be in the wrong place even though it fit there, the paper pulled up on the upper surface and tore off; I had to glue it back on. It turned out nicely, but I am not sure the frustration was worth it. I would not give it as a gift unless I knew that the recipient had a heavy commitment to finishing it.
