Three uses! I got three uses from my machine before THIS happened. I paid extra to get a machine that has a filter and I find I still have to run the liquid through cheesecloth to clear all of the residue. I was going to keep the machine and just deal with that but now after the third time making walnut milk I see that the blades are literally cutting the metal basket. No I DO NOT recommend this product and I want my money back. V

As heavy drinkers of almond milk, I was interested in making our own after reading the added ingredients in store bought and its expensive. This automatic nut milk maker by Hliay has been easy to use. I simply add almonds to the filter basket, add water, select mode and wait. I use ¾ cup of raw almonds to 6 cups of water with the “raw” mode. The instructions say it takes 5 minutes, but it barely takes three – it runs for 40 seconds and pauses for about 10, then begins again and beeps when it is 100% complete. I do not soak my almonds and have great results. The instructions say to always keep the water amount between the minimum and maximum marks on the inside of the jug – they are close together so it is always going to be between 5 and 6 cups. The filter does keep most of the pulp out of the milk, but I can still feel some in my throat if I don’t filter it also using cheesecloth (just ordered a nut milk bag). I have a photo of the milk right after making with froth, one of the pulp from the filter, and the buttery product from straining it again. I am satisfied with the consistency of the milk. None of the parts are recommended for dishwasher cleaning, and neither the lid or the jug can be immersed in water; this has not been a problem for me as it easily wipes clean with a soapy rag & then a rinse right after using it. I mainly ordered this to make almond milk and have not tried the options of other nuts, soup or smoothie. So far I am completely satisfied.
