Perfect for arepa making!
Perfect size to fit in a regular stove. Upt to 4 mid to big size arepas, or 5 fist like size. It heats up pretty quick. I recommend you read the instructions carefully otherwise the arepas will stick and or it can lose the protective coating easily. Make sure to lightly oil or butter prior to every use.

Just what I needed
Very good product, on the smaller side. I suggest buying the larger size for a big family.Well made, works perfectly! Timely delivery and well packaged. I like it very much.

Perfect crispy arepas!!
I love my Budare!! Arepas cook amazingly great, and brings me old memories in Venezuela. I also use it to toast bread, fry Venezuelan cheese and make pizza in the oven. Lightweight, curated and easy cleaning. It’s a must have. It was shipped from Venezuela to me in Boston, MA and arrived earlier than expected. 100% recommended.

Comal is smaller than pictured.
It works well for making pupusas, but I wish it was bigger. The 1 star missing is related to size. The pictures are misleading. I made small pupusas to fit 4 on this comal.

Did not work for corn tortillas
I bought this griddle based on advertising stating that it was good for tortillas. I followed the instructions perfectly and when I placed my first tortilla on the griddle, the tortilla started to stick and burn on some parts. Hoping that this was just a fluke, I kept on placing my tortillas on the griddle and it kept on getting worse and worse. I followed the cleaning and re-seasoning instructions and tried the griddle again, but the results were the same, but the griddle looked even worse for wear, so I had to throw it in the garbage. Maybe it works for some types of food, but it sure did not work like advertised. A big disappointment.

Lo mejor que pude encontrar aquí para quienes amamos arepas
Para quienes amamos las arepas es un excelente producto en USA, viene semi curado por lo que debes curarlo mejor, pero como no se hacerlo como las abuelas simplemente lo uso pasando una servilleta con aceite constantemente mientras hago las arepas y no lo lavo!!! 🤭
