These rubbish filters do not work with my Britta maxtra at all. Cheap yes, but do not work so money for nothing. I thought maybe one filter was faulty, but ended up trying 6 of them. All of which would not let water by. Yes they were installed correctly, plastic stickers removed etc, they do not fit the valve under filter that lets water flow into jug. So I went back to proper Britta filters and as if by magic the Britta ones do the job great. Buy Britta filters as these ones are truly C**p.

Was initially a little sceptical about purchasing non-genuine product after having read various reviews saying some filters just do not fit properly and don not do what they are supposed to etc.I can honestly say that the Max Strength Pro, in my opinion are at least as good as the originals, if not slightly better.The outer box does is well made and illustrated. The packaging is first class with each individual filter in air tight packaging. The filters fit exactly as they should and the taste of the water is really good. I can honestly recommend this product and will definitely be purchasing more when the six months supply are exhausted.

One of the cartridges when installed left a black tinge on the water when you first do the installing procedures like the brita one. Not sure if that's normal or if I got a faulty cartridge, nontheless the black tinge washed off after a few cycles, needs more cycles than Brita ones to get the water right.Taste alright similar to the Brita but has more a slight bitter taste that you get with mineral water but in a good way.With these kinds of products you have to hope they do filter as the general consumer doesn't have the testing equipment to test the water but it makes the water flavour more tolerable than water straight from the tap.
