I have pretty fine hair that's easily weighed down by product and prone to frizz. Awful combination. After I washed my hair and used my regular leave-in conditioner, I worked a very small amount of this into my hair and micro plopped. I didn't get the volume I would've liked on top of my head, but the rest of my hair ended up with curls that did not look greasy, feel crunchy, or frizz up despite getting stressed/upset when my hair was close to fully dry. I like that this didn't have much scent to it, either. I'm sensitive to scents (perfumes trigger headaches and nausea, both of which triggered that day from what other people wore into a doctor's office) and really appreciate that. Second day, my hair did not seem to lose as much volume as it normally does with just my leave-in conditioner, and I don't feel like like my hair became a bird's nest of tangles, either. That mess typically leads me to pulling out the curl as it dries so it's as close to straight as I can get without putting in much effort, something straight enough to run a hairbrush through, so if this is what I can expect with future uses of the product, it may get more common for people to see me with my curls!Edit: I should add that it was obnoxious trying to get the pump opened. I think I was rotating it the wrong way to release, but I can't be 100% sure. Nothing on the lid or labeling said how to open it.

Unfortunately this product has a very off scent. It doesn’t smell like sandalwood at all. It honestly smells like the sanitary wet wipes you use after using the toilet.Shame because the product works fine but the smell is quite disappointing.

I really like this curl cream. To use, you apply a dime sized blob to damp hair, work it through, and then scrunch. I used this after swimming, on rinsed but not freshly washed hair. My hair was damp but not saturated. I pumped once into my palm, rubbed my hands together, then applied the cream to the ends of my hair, not applying it at the roots/scalp. I scrunched my hair and let it air dry. Before it was even dry, I could see this was going to work. It left me with we;; defined curls, leaving no crunchiness behind like many curl creams do. Once dried, my hair felt softer and the ends were not frizzy at all, but my curls looked great. It left no scent behind on my hair, and I had no tangles whatsoever. It was easy to run my fingers and a comb through it.This curl cream was priced at $25 at the time of this review for a large bottle that will last a long time. Considering the high quality of this curl cream, I think it is an excellent value for the money. I will be repurchasing this product when this bottle runs out. I am happy with the effectiveness of this curl cream, and I highly recommend this product.

I’ve seen this brand’s ads on social media, and I usually assume “influencer brands” are more marketing than substance. Glad to say that’s not the case here.I’ve tried plenty of curl creams, and this one stands out. It defines curls like a gel but in cream form, without the crunchy cast. It’s thick, spreads easily, and works best if you let it set, form a cast, then break it. The result: defined curls with minimal frizz and dryness, a slight sheen, and a soft, touchable finish.I’m a big fan of the pump-style bottle, even though it’s small. I also love that they break down what each ingredient does, more brands should do that. Made in the USA is a plus too. My only gripe is the scent. It’s pretty strong, and I prefer something more natural or subtle.This really surprised me in the best way.
