Heavy flavor, fresh.
I live in an area where good olive oil is hard to come by. The olive oil around here all is imported from far away, and usually lacks the freshness of good oil and tends to be bland. This olive oil is made in Italy, and very fresh. The color is a light yellow-green, and the flavor is heavy green-olive flavor with a bitterness that smacks you in the face. I am not used to the heavy flavor of good cold-pressed oil, and to be honest, the bitterness was a little much for me at first. However, I mixed this with a little balsamic vinegar to make a bread dip, and it was wonderful. The taste grew on me.The bitterness in olive oil is from the high plant compounds (phenols) and is a sign of very high quality oil. There was no rancid bitter flavor (I've tasted that many times in lower quality oil). This oil is one that would be best used fresh for the flavors, and not for heating or cooking, as it would be too strong. This oil is in the price range I'd expect for a imported, hand pressed, high-quality olive oil. That said, it's not something that I'd buy for everyday use, or for cooking, as it's not affordable for me. As an occasional treat, however, this oil packs a punch.

Strong, delicious flavor. Much better than most. Perfect as a finishing oil.
This oil is so delicious. If you are used to less flavorful or watery olive oil, be prepared for a more bold, in-your-face flavor profile. This is a good thing. The oil tastes as it should and is wonderful for dipping things in and for use as a finishing oil to add a bit of flavor. Top quality here and I appreciate that it's organic. The color, smell, and viscosity are all on point and sit among the better olive oils I've tried. Short of going to Italy and buying from a farmer, this is one of the better olive oil choices I've come across, I'd recommend giving it a try!

Absolutely delicious Olive Oil! Tastes great dipped in bread, drizzled over salad, etc.
I really love this Olive Oil by Welleatable. I got this Olive Oil to mainly use as a bread dip with my spice recipe. But, it also tasted great mixed with balsamic vinegar over my salad. This olive oil has a nice, rich taste and a wonderful aroma. This olive oil really gives my cooking a really nice, full flavor to everything I've cooked with it. It is a little heavier flavor than the other olive oils I've used. I really appreciate that they included a copy of the certificate of analysis showing the results of the 3rd party lab testing. The high polyphenol's makes this heart healthy too. My bottle had the USDA certified organic logo, as well as the harvest season (2024-2025), and a best used by date (January 31, 2027). It appears to be made with quality ingredients. At $47.87/bottle or $2.83/ounce, the price seems a little high. But, for olive oil of this quality, I feel this is an excellent value and I would highly recommend it. Also, I feel this olive oil would make an wonderful gift.

Enhances your Meals
The olive oil has an intense, in a good way, flavor. It is perfect to dip bread in or drizzle on top of a salad or dip like hummus or feta spread. I believe it would be wasteful to use this for cooking. It is best used to compliment a dish and take it to the next level.

Intense Olive Oil
I'm very picky about the olive oil we use in our house. I usually stick to 100% California olive oils because they tend to be consistently good. This, however, is stronger than the stuff we usually use. My wife and I were both surprised at how fresh this oil tastes. It has a green, leafy taste to it that is very pleasant and lends itself to drizzling lightly over cheeses, caprese salad, etc.It does, however, also have a bitter aftertaste that's hard to ignore. As I understand, some folks like this flavor. I, personally, do not like it. The bitterness does mellow out a lot if you cook with it, but then you also lose some of the fresh notes as well. I would suggest sparing use of this oil as a drizzle or maybe blend it with a more neutral oil for use in salad dressings.

Strong olive oil for tasting, use this for the flavor
This olive oil is a full bodied tasting oil, in my opinion. Works best when used as a feature flavor in a salad dressing, as a bread garnish, or to season your cooking. This is a nice sized bottle but will go fast, as the taste will keep you coming back. It has a lovely aroma and the flavor is what you're looking for as an appetizer dressing.

Quality Olive Oil
WellEatable Ultra High Polyphenol Olive Oil - This is noticeably better than our usual Big-Box-Member-Store that starts with the letter C olive oil. The flavor is richer and more complex. You can taste the quality. I'm not expert enough to talk about their extraction method or polyphenol content, but I do know what I like, and this is fantastic, although a bit pricey.

Golden green color - powerful aftertaste
This olive oil came safely packaged in eco friendly materials.I liked the fresh fragrance as I opened the bottle. When I went in for a taste, I was disappointed by the bitterness that was in the oil.Frankly, I can not think of a dish that would benefit by the use of this oil.In an attempt to be fair, I asked another family member for an opinion and received the same response; they described it as medicinal tasting. While tastes vary, this oil has a bitter and enduring aftertaste that I cannot get past.
