I mounted this mirror next to my bathroom mirror. It works very well in this limited space of about 10 inches max. I don't really need a non-magnifying side to this mirror as it is right next to a standard mirror. The light is very bright and illuminates well. It is very easy to turn off and on and it retracts neatly into the limited space. It shows my whole face so it is easy to focus in on a specific area. The quality of the mirror's surface it excellent. It shows even the smallest details. I would buy this mirror again without hesitation.

Great mirror. Nice backlight. Good magnification. I found a convenient stud to drill into near an outlet. It is a fairly heavy mirror that will have to be repositioned often. One should consider placement first before purchasing.

I see better without the light so I returned it and got one from the same brand without the light. I have to wear a 2.00 reading glasses to put my make up on but it i hard to put make up with them on. The 8X magnification works great and I do not need to wear my glasses, but I do have to be about 10 inches from the mirror so I can focus my eyes. Jerdon seems to be a great brand!

Hotel stay which had this mirror convinced us it was what we were looking to purchase for our master bath. It is great for all the close up duties in the bathroom. Easy to install this plug in version.

Received my mag mirror in record time. Thanks Amazon! I've used it for 3 days now. The size, magnification, quality and easy wall placement are perfect 5 stars. however, the LED lighting is too intense, glaring and extremely irritating to my eyes. To filter this, I taped them and use it only as deemed necessary for very closeup since my overhead vanity lights serve well as backup lights. The tape should work well overtime because LED lighting is cool. The seller might want to consult an ophthalmologist about proper use of LED lighting and effects on your eyes with prolonged use with each encounter.

It's a well built mirror, infinitely adjustable and looks good, but the light is extremely harsh and very blue, to the point where you cannot see accurate colors when it’s on. It's also so bright that you have to squint to see. For me, the 5X magnification is vastly better than the 10X that seems more common.

I recently stayed at a resort in Las Vegas that had their bathrooms equipped with this mirror. It’s so user-friendly with the light, the adjustability, and of course the magnification. Being hands-free is absolutely wonderful for make-up application. Extremely easy to install. Highly recommend!
