I went ahead and returned it. Waste of time for me to purchase this to receive a plastic screen. These guys should state it's high quality plastic. not glass.

Kit had all the necessary tools to perform the repair. The replacement glass was in perfect shape. The inclusion of new adhesive pre-cut was a great plus for this product. My only negative on this product is that there are no instructions for performing the repair.

First off, it's not glass. It's plastic. It's easy to install. It will crack but it takes the hit so your actual glass screen may not.

I had a cracked front and back but usable phone to start with so i ordered the back and front glass and since i was opening the phone i ordered a new battery too.I followed all online instructions and videos i could find and removed the back and battery.....they say to do this when replaceing front glass anyway.they came off and out with much reheating and fuss and i dont quite understand all the pieces included in the kits....but feeling rather accomplished with the back and battery i began doing the front glass......DON'TIt began to loosen and i was being careful......understand this.......The screen for the phone is FULLY attached to the glass in multiple layer and easilly ruined when trying to do front glass.Yes i ruined it! and wont do that again. Luckilly the wife heard my verbal barrage and ordered a refurbished phone replacement from amazon at just over $200 ....i was about $70 into the repair for the parts. so i recommend rather than enjoy frustration find a place that replaces front glass...best i found was $250 and that would not have included a battery and back cover.Buy a refurb that will work it is faster and cheaper....and i have been an electronics guy since early 70's so i have taken apart and modified electronic devices
