Nice
My daughter loves this thing. She uses it for iced coffee all summer. It also works great for hot drinks in the winter. So glad I got it for her. Best gift ever!

Love this cold brew machine!
Obsessed with this cold brew machine!!! It’s so easy to clean and the cold brew it creates is out of this world. I experience no leakage at all. It’s very simple to use and provides me with abt 5 very large coffees each time. It is also small enough to fit in the fridge.

Will Pay For Itself In 1-2 Months
Honestly bro, to say that we are coffee people would be an understatement. For the longest time though, we thought there was no better cold brew than the one from our local coffee shop - boy were we wrong. We'd tried several other cold brew coffee "makers" and the all had issues that significantly affected the taste of the coffee they produced, so we eventually went back to our rather expensive habit.A few weeks ago, we saw an ad for this KitchenAid cold brew coffee maker and decided to get back into the fray of at-home coffee making. Right off the bat, this cold brew coffee maker is sturdy and well-built - at least on the outside. The glass is quite heavy duty so it can withstand the occasional bump, and the brushed stainless steel details make it really nice to look at. But, where this baby really shines is in the product that results. What you really pay for when you buy cold brew coffee makers like this one is the coffee filter itself. The better the quality of the "mesh," the better tasting your coffee will be. With previous items, we've had to add an additional filtration step using cheesecloth to get some of the grinds out of the coffee, but with this KitchenAid, the holes in the metal coffee filter are so small, that very little filters out into the actual coffee liquid. The result is, in our opinion, some of the best cold brew coffee outside of any coffee shop.Sure, the price tag is a little high (we got ours when it was on sale, so it cost around $90), but with a 28oz carafe, this is enough quality coffee to replace 6 coffees from the coffee shop each week. If you do the math, you're saving $25-30 bucks a week and can make about 6 weeks worth of coffee from a single bag of ground coffee, so this baby really can pay for itself in 1-2 months. The biggest drawbacks, and they are minimal, would be that for us, the 28oz version is a little small (but the 48oz version was over $150 and we couldn't justify spending that much), in addition, the mesh filter itself is quite delicate, so you have to be very careful when washing, drying, and storing it.Overall though, again for us, this has so far been worth the price. We are starting week 3 today and so far, have really enjoyed the flavor of the coffee our KitchenAid makes, the look of the item itself, and the fact that we haven't gone out for coffee for two weeks.

Great set up
This has been perfect for my family! We love cold brew but wanted a more cost-effective option. I prepare the cold brew at night, and by morning, the concentrate is ready to mix with water. It’s incredibly easy to clean, and I love that it’s completely plastic-free, made of glass and stainless steel. While the spout pours a bit slower than I’d prefer, the overall system is fantastic!

Simple, effective brewer
I am going to assume any buyer will brew the coffee he or she likes, like I did. I am happy to say the coffee turned out great. If you buy the 28 oz unit, check the owner’s manual for the amounts of coffee and water to use. The manual sent to me included only amounts for the 38 oz unit. I did a little math and found one should use only 60 per cent of the beans and water listed for the 28 oz unit. This worked perfectly. I registered my product purchase today on KitchenAid.com and was able to download an updated manual. This new manual called for an additional 50 gms of coffee over what I used. The 200 gms of coffee I used with the lesser amount of water was perfect as far as how full the container was.

Contains plastic!
I knew this was too good to be true. Product claims stainless steel and glass, yet fails to mention the drain is made of plastic. And the worst kind of plastic which is black plastic. I love how the instructions mention the parts that are made of glass and stainless steel, but says nothing of what the tubing and the drain are made off. Really wanted to like this product, but I’ll stick with my final press and make cold brew by the cup. Instant return for me.
