I'm just getting in the market for a new small set of ceramic knives. Thank goodness for Amazon, who kindly reminded me that I bought just this set in December of 2022. 😁After reading through many of the reviews that accompanied pictures, I felt the need to leave my own review of this great knife set to offer another perspective.HANDLES-- I have not had ANY issues with the blade coming out from the handle or wiggling. Similarly, I've experienced no issues with food getting caught in the handle.My blades are as black as the day we purchased them; however, I don't put them in the dishwasher frequently. These babies get hand washed.I also do appreciate the design feature on the handles that includes the multiple lines toward the top of the handle nearest the blade. It is a natural stop for your finger, and a good extra safety measure.BLADES--after two years, my blades have their fair share of minimal dings; but nothing too egregious. IMHO, most blade damage is caused by user error or overuse. Remember--these are ceramic blades and will have a natural element of delicacy. We can't expect them to perform like a stainless steel blade.I've been very pleased that my blades have remained white and have not taken on the color (or odor!) of the foods I cut.OVERALL--this has been a great ceramic knife set for me and my teenage daughters (who learned to cook with them.) These affordable knives have been durable and maintained their appearance for more than two years in my kitchen, as we've reached for them on a near-daily basis.

Once upon a time, I needed some affordable and reliable knives for my kitchen.As always, I decided to start my reseacrh with Amazon, and as result I found this WACOOL ceramic knife set.The first thing to mention, is a price. The set is a budget-friendly solution. At the same time, for this price, you get quite a lot in this set: a chef’s knife, a utility knife, and a paring knife for fruits and vegetables.The knives are very lightweight and also sharp. They cut through vegetables or bread without any resistance, making cooking significantly easier and faster. The handle is comfortable and doesn’t slip in hand.Of course, these are ceramic knives, so they can't be used for chopping hard foods, and they shouldn’t be stored loosely. But as long as you follow the care instructions, you won’t have any issues. The only downside is that they can't be hung on a magnetic holder—but remember, we chose ceramic knives, right?The set includes plastic protective sheaths, but honestly, they irritate me more than they help. I think it's mostly a marketing move because I just don't use them, even though they should make storage safer.Overall, this is a good set of sharp ceramic knives for a reasonable price. I recommend it!

Blades are extremely sharp and hold hold their sharpness if used properly. I’ve ordered 2 of 3 set over the past couple of years and unfortunately the handles become loose - they don’t come off - just loose.

These knives are terrible. I needed a replacement for a set of ceramic knives that worked beautifully but, they are no longer available to purchase. I didn’t think that a different brand would make much difference. Despite the sharp ceramic edge the curve of the blade may as well turn it into a butter knife. As you apply more pressure to the knife, the blade veers out instead of straight. They say the only thing more dangerous than a shape knife is a dull knife and it’s for that exact reason. So I’ll go back to sharpening my regular knives before even considering purchasing these again.
