Nice watch winder
Works really well. Has multiple settings for turning right or left and revolutions per day. Each bay has separate settings

So happy I trusted the other reviews and bought this!
I'm very happy with this watch winder. I previously received a smaller 2 watch winder as a gift, which worked ok, but just ok. The smaller winder was loud and had a 4 position switch to alternate winding patterns and times, but who knows exactly what those patterns were. It did not come with instructions and never quite kept the watches where they needed to be.This winder on the other hand is wonderful. It is plastic, but a quality looking and feeling plastic. The door on the front covers all watch ports and not only keeps dust out of the unit, but also keeps this surprisingly quiet. There are no led lights in this unit, which for me, was a plus. My previous unit had led's that would light up when the motors turned. That looks nice but would instantly wake me up in the middle of the night when it came on. This is so quiet that I don't hear it at all when I sleep (I'm a light sleeper) and I have to visually see the watches turning during the day to know it's still working. It sits on my nightstand next to my bed.I use this for my Invicta and Seiko watches, both with Japanese automatic movements and my Hamilton and Tag Heuer, both with Swiss automatic movements. It keeps them right where they need to be.All in all I'm extremely happy with this unit after using it for a while and would purchase it again. There's no need to spend $300 or more on a unit if you're looking for something stylish, simple and to keep your automatics on time.

Much better than I expected
This quad watch winder is a breath of fresh air in a world of premium priced watch winders. If you collect automatic watches like me, you might not want to spend more than $200 on a watch winder that could otherwise go into buying the next watch. The Versa is the lowest priced winder that I could find on Amazon that had individual motors and winder controls for each watch. This is important because not all watches require the same number of turns per day (TPD), nor in the same direction (clockwise, counter clockwise or both). This winder gives you 4 options for turn duration and 3 options for direction per watch.Lets talk about looks for a moment. This winder looks fantastic. Yes, it is made of plastic, but it has a matte finish that gives it an elegant appearance.Let's talk about footprint...Unlike winders that have 4 winders in a row, this one stacked them on top of each other. The advantage is that I can fit 2 of these winders in the same space as the Heiden Quad winder that I returned. So, now I have 8 watches in the same space that I used to have just 4. Guess what, that leaves room for more expansion, right? There are a few things to get used to about this winder. The one/off switches are in the rear of the unit which is not as accessible as front switches. In reality, it has not really affected my use of the winder. I just wait until the watch is not rotating and pull it out of its cubby hole. I would say that finding the switches makes for a clean presentation. The other thing that took me some figuring was the spring-loaded inserts that hold the watches. I have not totally figured the best way to load those and there is little guidance in the instructions. Each watch carrier comes with a foam pad and a wider watch base. I use the pad to make sure that no part of my watch is rubbed by the plastic carrier. I will experiment more to see what works best over time, but bottom line is that the carriers hold the watches safely in the winder. As a safety feature, the winder slightly angles the watches back to keep them in place and also present them in a pleasing way. If the watches ever did fall off of the carrier, the door should keep them from falling out. I hope that I do not have to test this theory one day. The door probably keeps dust off your watches as well.I have had the winder for a few weeks so time will tell if holds up the the rigors of time. The motors on winders can go bad and I am not sure if this has user-replaceable engines. It does have a 1 year warranty so keep you box in case it has to ship back. So far, I have high hope. If anything changes, I'll update the review.

Versa Quad Winder offers attractive pricing and features but......
This product's price and features (4 watch capacity with independently adjustable rotation) are attractive. Its reliability and warranty service, based on my personal experience with two of these Versa Winders, may be challenging. I had noisy motors in both winders. One of the winders progressed to the point of not consistently rotating 2 of my 4 watches. If a motor becomes noisy within the Amazon 30-day refund period, return it immediately as later on you are left only with the Versa warranty to fall back on. The Versa warranty is one year, will be honored by sellers but is not without customer cost (shipping in my malfunctioning winder for repair cost me $27), time (repair cycle is estimated at 10-15 workdays), but may possibly be avoided by requesting the Versa seller send you a motor repair kit at no charge. I failed at installing the new motor kit the first time but armed with that poor experience I think I could do it now. If you need a motor repair kit, insist that the Versa seller send you the motor repair kit with detailed directions. The motor repair kit is likely not too complex for a serious DYIer with electrical experience, but for the rest of us - insist on written directions to help you on the kit installation. If the repair kit is problematic, you may need to send it into the seller for repair.

Best winder for the money
I have quite a number of Versa winders, from their single watch (6), to their dual watch (2), and quad (2) winders. The oldest one I have is 6 years old and it still runs like a champ This is my 2nd quad winder. You can't beat the price compared to the high end luxury winders, and they work very well. You can select turns-per-day and direction of turns (CW, CCW, Both). On the multi-watch winders, each watch has it's own setting, too. They are also very quiet. I have them next to my bed and on my headboard. I never hear them at night. The winder is programmed to rotate a certain number of times, then it stops. It repeat this brief winding cycle throughout the day for the set number of turns. This saves overwinding the watch and avoids putting too much stress on the winding mechanism inside the watch. I have never had any of these winders damage my watches.I rely on these winders because I have watches that are difficult to set (perpetual calendar). I don't want those to ever wind-down and I know I'll forget it if I was to do it myself.
