It works like it's supposed to.
I haven't personally used this set yet, but my coworker did and it worked. A shop down the street used it twice and it worked. I bought this set so that I wouldn't have to do an Ecoboost timing belt ever again, because once I have a specialty tool like this I never need it again.

I usually don’t buy cheaper kits for timing but this kit is just as good and works well for the 1.6 ford engine

I must have for a friction fit crankshaft pulley so you maintain top dead center when installing a timing belt

Tool machining is not the best
Issues I've run into (so far): the threads on the shorter timing peg are not machined properly, will not thread into port on block.And concerning the crankshaft pulley alignment tool: piece that slides in and holds the pulley is too fat, and is not oriented properly. (Compared it to the Rotunda tool).Also, the tool that holds the VCT units is too thin, allowing the units to move out of alignment. Not that big of a deal, but definitely something to be aware of.
