easy to install - seems durable
If you can pull a hinge pin, you can install this door stop. Looks great and does the job.

Perfect to protect from damage on our woodwork.
Perfect solution for keeping our closet door from damaging our woodwork. The handle of our coat closet door was hitting against our window sill. This stopped it from reaching that point and still opens wide as it should. Easy solution.

Hi...I'm a hinge doorstop, and I stop doors from hitting walls.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Doesn't look "cheap". If you can pull the pin out of a door hinge, you can put these in in less than two minutes.Works as intended, though I haven't really tried "pushing" hard. It's not the same as a door stop, and I imagine if you slam the door open, you will damage the trim around your door.Overall, easy to install and adjust, looks good, and cheap. The only issue I have is that at maximum extension, it can still open to 70-80 degrees (I plan to find some longer screws to replace the ones included), which if you're using this so you can say, have a class cabinet or computer stand near the door, I wouldn't consider it sturdy enough...in that case, I'd recommend looking into a floor-fastened doorstop as a final safety. I did install two on one door, and will possibly add a third because I want to be "sure" and I always over-engineer things.

A solution that works!
We have a very small bathroom and the bathroom door was hitting the toilet seat when opened too far. This is the perfect solution to adjust the door so it only opens so far.It was a surprise perk that the stop has quite a bit of springiness/softness and elasticity to it, so it doesn't hit hard against the wall or door moldings when it makes contact. Just adjust it to make contact about an inch or so from the max opening you want. You could get away with only putting the stop on one hinge but we put one on both the top and bottom hinge for extra support and even wear.We have been using it for a few months now and it doesn't cause any damage to the door or wall. Perhaps the rubber will get hard or brittle over time and will need to be replaced, but it's still an excellent solution to our particular use case.
