A new favorite
I got this book because it is part of a homeschool curriculum. I’ve never heard of it before but it is such a heartwarming book, that will fill your heart with gratitude. The book is about a father wanting to give his son a Christmas, his son is disabled so the father decides to bring Christmas joy to him, while creating a meaningful new Christmas tradition. I am including this in my every year must read around Christmas list, because it is so heartwarming.Note: I read this to my kid who was 5 years old, (Kindergarten) she did have questions about the book. Also, this is a book that an adult would read to children, I don’t think the reading level would be appropriate for a young child or new reader to read on their own.

Darling Christmas story for children
This is a fun, sweet story to read to young children. It has a heartwarming message and the pictures are so well done and beautiful. This has been a favorite for my children for many years. It is perfect for an adult to read to a child.

Sweet, sweet story
This was one of five books I selected as a gift for a young couple just having had their first child. Believing in the "power" of books, believing in an early exposure to words and pictures, I felt this lovely story by Margaret Wise Brown would be a perfect choice. Not having read the book previously, I made sure I did so before sending this group of selections off. Parents and child will love the story and accompanying illustrations.

A sweetheart of a story
You may remember this one from your childhood and now it's time for the grandchildren to have a chance. This is a before Christmas read full of gentle life lessons of kindness and true Christmas spirit. A great story to read and reread. This one will be a family classic to pull out every year and be passed from parent to child for years to come.

For the Trees
This was an old childhood favorite I read decades ago. Time has not diminished the magic of the Fir Tree! I have always loved trees and especially the magic of Christmas Trees. For those with children in grade school who love trees, share this with them if you can.

A Lovely Book
Sweet to cuddle up with in the days before Christmas. My 7 and 4 year old grandchildren, both, listened intently. In small ways, it is about love and courage, giving and gratitude and the goodness of nature. The illustrations are beautiful.

Great read for young and old alike.
It's a great Christmas story to share with children and adults alike. Charity does indeed begin at home, and is a trait that needs to be passed down from generation to generation.
