Exactly what I needed
I have a good quality leather office chair that I did not what to replace, so I've really glad to be able to have this quick fix. The bracket was easy install and so far it's holding just fine. Very happy with this. When I first opened the pkg, I thought it was missing a washer, but it comes with only one and it seems that's all it needs.

Ummm looks good but alas!
It looks good but the silicone breaks down real quick and well then it is just metal on metal. Would I recommend it.... nope. If it was completely covered in a thicker silicone, it might be better. I suggest they try that and let us know. I don't regret buying the item, can't learn if it is any good if you don't try it!

does what it says on the tin
I needed something to extend the life of my home office chair and this did it. Pretty easy to install, though now i feel everywhere my chair cheaped out on padding now.

Works perfectly, and easy to install. This was waaaay cheaper than a new chair. Good as new!

Great idea...Worked for about a month then started sliding.
Worked for about a month then started sliding and couldn't be tightened more than it was.
