I bought the Rewire Security 104N 4G GPS Tracker for my car, and I’m really impressed. The setup was easy, and the real-time tracking is spot on. The battery life lasts for days, which is a huge plus. I also love how versatile it is I’ve used it for both personal and business purposes, and it’s been perfect for tracking my vehicles. The magnetic design makes it super easy to attach anywhere. Overall, great product and a solid investment for anyone looking for reliable vehicle tracking.

Happy with the tracker as the battery last long and tells u exact where the car is.I bought a subscription so it is worth as well.

Easy to set up, easy to use. Seems very accurate. Fair price for a good piece of kit.

Rubbish item. Can’t use without purchasing a subscription but even after following instructions perfectly after 7 hours it still refused to connect to any gsm signal therefor cannot track. Sent back for a refund the next day and got a refund luckily on the subscription. Weirdly when I logged into the app to upload the tracking device imei number it said there were 4 other devices already logged into it in different areas of the country.

More expensive than I thought

Having just bought a new car I wasn’t sure what the best ‘tracker’ options were. I did some research and saw the cost of fully installed options with their ongoing monthly subscriptions and whilst I could see the advantages both in technology, reliability etc, did I really need it at that price.......I did some more digging and came across the Spytrack Nano & Plus. The nano really needs to be hardwired in while the plus will give you months of use between charges.I went with the plus for the flexibility of sticking it in the car and charging it up every few weeks. No install cost, literally charge and go.It’s been in the car now a couple of months and it’s really an impressive bit of kit.To leverage it full power you need to spend some time on the Spytrack website configuring things inc zones and alarms, insert your email address etc. This is all simple enough and worth the time invested as it will take your unit to new levels.You do need a subscription to use the service but it’s way cheaper than others out there.If my car leaves my home zone I get a notification and email. If the car moves or is shaken (say it’s hit) again a notification and email. All of which can be muted and re enabled in the phone app or online.You can see where you’ve been or where the thief has taken your car. Accuracy seems really good from everything I have looked at. Multi story car parks and anything underground throw the signal out a bit but you would be close enough to go explore on foot if you were trying to find your baby.You can improve the accuracy by changing the reporting time to Spytrack. The default is every minute from memory but mines sat on 15 seconds. This does hit the battery life a bit but I think it’s worth it for the accuracy boost.My car comes out at weekends really and spends most of those weekends on trips around the uk. With reporting @ 15 sec intervals the battery is lasting around a month or so between charges which for me works a treat.Hiding it in the car was easy enough, the magnet holds it snugly in place in my chosen spot.It’s really hard to find fault, my only wish would be for longer battery life but that’s just me being lazy!

So first things first, you need a subscription to use this. It's £85 per year at the time of writing, but what you get for that is near real-time tracking of the device. It could be cheaper, but in my opinion it's still worth it.The advantage of this device is that it is a huge battery with a very strong magnet, meaning you can stick it in the sneakiest places around your car. You won't have the obvious OBD port sticking out that can easily be removed.I'd say I charge it about once a month, and I have it on maximum tracking capability, 15s intervals, lights off, heartbeat on. I reckon you could get a couple of months out of a single charge if you reduced the tracking frequency.You can add a number of devices to the platform too, so it's suitable for small business too.Overall, I thoroughly recommend this. Ideal if you want a tracker you can hide, and won't have to recharge often!
