Albert's Chocolate Ice Cubes 60 Count Tray

I've been eating these Ice Cube chocolates since the 1960s. They are very slightly different, but still possess the same incredible smoothness, cool and slippery on the tongue (hence the name) and wonderful hazelnut/chocolate flavor. I have never encountered any foreign nor domestic chocolates as smooth as these. I was delighted to find them here on Amazon, as they are not widely available. Because of their very low melting point, I would only order them in cool weather. These would never survive even moderately warm temps. They are way more expensive than I remember, but in my opinion, well worth the expense. There is truly nothing like them. If your house is hot, you might consider keeping them in the fridge. Even a hot kitchen will melt them! (This is why they are so unusual and so good!).

I remember these Albert’s Chocolate Ice Cubes from my childhood — I loved them then, and I still love them now! It’s amazing how many food companies have changed their recipes over the years, but these have stayed exactly the same. They’re just as yummy, rich, and creamy as I remember, and they haven’t even changed in size! One bite instantly takes me back. So happy to find these again — a true nostalgic treat that still delivers every bit of the original magic!

Ordered this in October and it came with the pieces in a plastic container. Ordered again in December, and the pieces arrived in a plastic bag. What’s more, it was a warm day and the entire bag was full of melted chocolate and foil wrappers. Granted, it’s warm where I live, but my first order had the plastic container so even if they had melted, the pieces would have retained some structure since they were secure in the plastic case. They should *always* arrive in that plastic container! It was misleading to get a bagful of them. This was not returnable, either.

They are my favorite candy from my youth!

Great chocolate I love this stuff takes me back to my childhood. Anyone who enjoyed this treat knows how temperature sensitive it is so I hoped for the best when making this purchase. It arrived quickly but approximately 1/3 of the individual candies were a little squished and misshaped but tasted fine so be aware this purchase is bulk in a bag and very temperature sensitive I probably wouldn’t buy in the summer time or if you live in a warmer climate.

Just like I remember as a kid

Bought these for my Dad for Christmas. I hadn't seen them on the store shelves for years. I thought they'd stopped making them. My dad used to buy these as a treat for my sister and I any time he ran to the corner store. His mom did the same for him, as did my mom's mom. These little chocolates were a special treat for multiple generations, as a small gesture of love, and I'm so glad to find them! When my dad opened the box on Christmas, everyone immediately begged for him to share. Luckily, with 60 in the box, there was enough to share and also stash a bunch for himself for later. The whole family erupted with delight as we all simultaneously relived our childhoods through the nostalgic, deliciously smooth chocolate. They taste just like they did when we were kids. They were very fresh, in perfect condition which is surprising considering how easily they melt. 10/10 would definitely recommend as a gift or just to treat yourself!
