Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Wonderful customer service in fixing a problem!
The product arrived as promised, was packaged well and was complete. I seldom write narratives about my purchases, But this company gave me exceptional service and was always responsive to my inquiries. All emails were answered with actionable suggestions within 24 hours. When one of the scales did not work properly, Mary sugested diassembly to look for visible defects. That seemed to work, but it soon failed, suggesting a defective wire connection. When I reported this, Mary immediatley responed with an offer to send a new scale. In my view, the measure of a company can be determined by how they resolve problems and this seller is exceptional.

Overall great value & addition to any Lathe/Mill
As a self-proclaimed hobby machinist, I did a lot of research to determine A) what DRO system I wanted B) respective scale sizes that will fit my mill. This was my first DRO install which resulted in ~10 working hours, but trust the process & enjoy a couple cold ones and you'll be okay. Hopefully the pictures & information below will serve as an aid in making your DRO purchase/install.SPECS USED - ENCO Model 100-1599 (49" x 9")-Longitudinal Travel (X): 35" - 37" Scale-Transverse Travel (Y): 12" - 14" Scale-Vertical Travel (Z): 16" - 18" ScalePROS:-Overall good quality scales/encoders/box-Numbers appear to accurate, but I will conduct further testing to verify-Quick shipping & good packaging-Great communication from sellerCONS:-Hardware (socket cap screws, washer, brackets) is generic and could probably be disregarded-Manual is quite poor, rely on YouTube as a better reference-Shield covers are thin and don't allow for much room for mounting holes, but it's better than nothingTIPS:-Start with X, then Y, and finish with Z axis - Easiest -> Hardest-Use a digital level to estimate positioning before dialing in with indicator-Make sure you have plenty of hardware on hand! This includes nuts, bolts, taps, and various sized washers-Slightly & carefully ream ends of mounted hole to accept 1/4-20 bots (common & cheap to acquire)-I recommend custom brackets for Y & Z axis install, and baseplate for Z (depending on machine model)-Wait till the end to perform cable management. Use oversized P-clamps where slack is needed (Y & Z)

Nice upgrade to a Grizzly mill
I ordered custom lengths (X/Y/Z=350/200/300) for a Grizzly G0463 mill. Increments of 50 mm only. This is a DIY kit with no instructions whatsoever. To get an electronic copy of the manual for the display, go to their website. Refer to the photos for details on the install. The scales have been accurate and repeatable, with easy on screen switching between metric and SAE. The read heads run underneath the scale, which keeps things cleaner, at least for the X & Y axis'. The included hardware, including scale covers are nice. I was able to use some of the parts, with the rest custom machined and 3D printed parts. I don't like that the read head is the same thickness as the scale, which requires you to shim the scale out to keep it from rubbing on a moving stage...a minor issue.

Worked pretty well
System worked very well. Enclosed brackets were not useable due to size, but gave me some spare aluminum angle stock.

you need these for your mill
they fit good on my Wen 33013 mill, just make sure you have plenty of drill bits, you will break a few installing these, the cast iron like to eat bits, once installed which is easy (besides the bits breaking), it works great, very accurate and read instructions, programming will get easier with use, I highly recommend these, make sure after you order to check the messages from the vendor from orders screen, then problem with order, they will ask you for confirmation of the sizes.

Plan on making most of your mounting hardware...
I installed this product on my Rockwell 21-100 3-axis milling machine. There are no installation instructions included, but "ToAuto" does offer an install video on YouTube. The guy in the install video made this seem like a "slam, bam, thank you mamm" install process. It's not.Had to make most of my own mounting hardware. The only hardware I used from the kit was the metric screws to mount the read heads, and 4 of the 6 "L" brackets, which all required being corrected to a 90° true angle. All the rest of the mounting hardware was of my own design. The "hardware" (flimsy plastic guides) that are intended to hold the read heads centered and in-place while installing the screws to the brackets leave a lot to be desired. They are flimsy and do not hold the read heads solidly while locking the read head to a bracket. The User Guide requires a fair amount of "WTF are they saying!" scrutiny. You can get a LOT more guidance from watching YouTube (recommend "Blondihacks") on how to use the device. This is NOT a rush install! Take your time... I took nearly 30 days for mine, but I'm retired and I have a LOT of time on my hands. At this point, I'm pleased with the performance and accuracy of the device.
