Smells great
I live in a neighborhood with lots of deer - probably because we feed them :) This works great and smells good enough that I'm not embarrassed to spray up close to my front door. Others smell like.... well, you know. My deer no longer eat my ferns.

Keeps deer away without keeping you away.
I have tried other deer repellants. They smelled like rotten meat. Who wants their outside smelling like that? I have tried both the spice scent of this product and the citrus scent of their other product. Both are much more tolerable to the human nose and even that scent seems to go away in about a day or two. The product continues to work, though. Deer which used to regularly mow down any greenery in my garden never touch it anymore. It must change their eating patterns because I don't even see them coming around after I spray. It lasts a while too. Somewhere around 4 applications will last all spring and summer, and there are LOTS of deer in my area.

Spray is effective. Spray bottle? Not so much.
We have had great luck with this spray. It does a good job of keeping the deer away. However, the only problem is the actual spray bottle! It only worked for a short time and then it stopped spraying. We had to purchase another spray bottle from the hardware store and transfer the contents over.

It Works
Last year deer ate everything in my flower beds - hydrangea, day lillies, , hosta, roses - you name it. This year I decided it would not happen again. I was very leary about buying anything because all I ever heard was nothing works. Wrong! I bought I Must Garden and sprayed my plants. Flower bed is full again as my plants are growing full steam ahead. It does work. I spray my plants about every 3 weeks. There is an odor for a few days but then it goes away. It is a minty odor and not bad unless you get in the path of it just as you spray. Getting ready to order my 3rd bottle.

So far so good!
I live in Southern NYS, and in my suburban neighborhood we have a herd of deer that roams thru everyone's gardens and I have several groundhogs digging holes all over my yard, so my flower garden is always at risk of being eaten. I have been using Liquid Fence for years, and it mostly works well, but I felt that maybe if I tried another product, I could mix it up and possibly overcome the deer and groundhogs who seem to like the taste of rotten egg and pepper, especially if lilac buds are on offer! 😡 So I liked that this spray has all that *plus* cinammon oil, because I do know that garden eaters do not like powdered cinammon on the plants. It seems to work great. I may overdo the spraying somewhat - I spray whenever it rains and whenever there's a growth spurt in the plants, especially new buds or leaves, but so far, nothing has been eaten. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It does smell nicer in the garden than the regular anti-deer spray, as the cinammon oil adds a scent that is pleasant to me, but not so much the deer/groundhogs.

It works if you use it a lot
I live in the very back of an apartment complex so I have a bunch of plants (strawberries, peppers, sunflowers, etc.) outside my door. As long as I spray this stuff every few days, my plants are okay. If I wait more than 4 or 5 days, the deer eat everything. I also have to spray right after it rains, which is a lot since I live in Florida. As long as I keep at it, the deer will stay away, but I can’t go as long as the packaging says I should without spraying. Also, I do notice a smell with the pepper spray and it’s not pleasant. It mostly goes away after initially spraying, but there is definitely a faint smell for the next day or two. As long as it works I don’t mind, but I did see a lot of reviews saying that it doesn’t smell bad, and I don’t entirely agree.

So far so good
I’ve been using this spray a month and so far so good. My green lilies are about to bloom, which is when the deer like to chomp the buds off. I’ve used it once a week but sometimes add another spray. It’s kept deer away from them and from my hostas - and I don’t have ugly netting by my front steps. Maybe they just needed a different brand than what I was using but so far this spray is working (although smells horrible when applying)!

Works GREAT for Deer
I know this product gets some mixed reviews, but this worked great for me. I only purchased it to spray on the mums I bought for my front porch. We have a family of deer, and while they are so sweet, they eat everything. They’re in our yard every morning, afternoon and evening - eating bird seed from the bird feeder, and anything they can get their mouth on - and I admit, we do feed them bread and fruit and such - they love it. So I was hesitant to try this, as I figured they were already so comfortable around us and on our property, they’d probably look past the smell and eat the flowers. Happy to report that I was wrong! They still eat everything else in sight, but they stay clear of my mums. It’s been almost two weeks I believe, I sprayed heavily once as the instructions advised and spritzed one more time after a week went by, no issues! I know it says for deer, but I did try this for the squirrels in our yard, too, as they kept going after the dried corn stalks I had on my front porch, but they truly could not have cared less. They still ravaged that thing and tore it apart all over my yard, it was almost as if they even liked the scent haha. Oh well! Worked great for the deer.
