I am allergic to most soy sauces except for this one. It uses very limited ingredients and still tastes great. The price is reasonable too.

Solid choice for soy sauce. Great flavor. I bought a case for use as a fuel supplement for a diesel engine. Sadly it didn’t work.

Excellent taste, top quality. There is not much else to add. I had this for the first time many years ago and no other soy sauce tastes as good. It’s a staple in our household.

There are many soy sauces in this world. This is not one of those “many.” This is Kikkoman, and if you reach for anything else, just know your elders are watching. I was raised on this stuff. Bottle-fed. Other kids had pacifiers—I had a tiny nipple screwed onto a bottle of Kikkoman. From an early age, my palate was conditioned to understand one simple truth: this is soy sauce. Everything else is a mistake—one that brings quiet pain to the mother and father who worked very hard to give you a better life than they had. Sure, there are other brands. Darker ones. Bigger ones. Ones with less sodium (NEVER buy the low-sodium version unless you wish to bring tears to your aunties’ eyes). Others claim to be artisanal. But I was trained—TRAINED—to know better. Kikkoman is versatile, clean, and quietly judgmental. It doesn’t shout. It merely raises its voice. It has many uses. Eggs, dumplings, noodles—whatever. Just don’t pour it on your grandma’s food while she’s watching. She’ll assume you think her cooking is under-seasoned and resent you until she finally kicks the bucket at 97. Drank a pint of Cutty Sark, smoked a pack a day, and still outlived most. Touch old broad she was, but I digress...
