Not bad but not great in fact average and adequate
Use these to sleep in noisy rooms unfortunately they come loose in a little plastic bag NOT individually wrapped in pairs as the product description stated , this is deceitful and frankly disappointing. The product may be genuine Howard leight or not who can tell but they are adequate for noise isolation

The best ear buds to block out sounds and get a good nights sleep!
I was recommended these by a friend because I was having sleep problems due to noise particularly in the summer. I have tried all sorts of ear plugs and they didn’t do the job. These are brilliant. I have recommended these to my mum and bought a set for my daughter.Recently I was very very ill in hospital. My bed was next to the nurses station and right next to the bells going off 24/7. These ear buds saved my sanity, I slept no problem. There is a nack to these ear buds I have discovered. They are rounded at one end and an odd shape at the other.I pinch and reduces the width of the rounded end and then put it into my ear. I hold it in my ear for a few seconds then let go. The ear buds expand but also partly come out of the ear. Don’t panic that they aren’t working. What they do is nestle into your outer ear and lodges there. I guide the ear buds into that position. You may worry once the ear buds are in position in the outer ear that the inner ear bit isn’t doing it’s job. It takes the inner section several seconds to expand into position too.I appreciate that this sounds a bit fiddly but I promise you it’s absolutely worth the fiddle to get a brilliant nights sleep.Because these ear buds sit into the outer ear, they don’t fall out. I make sure they are in position in the outer ear before I go to sleep. I find them comfortable and soft enough too.I can’t tell you how much money I’ve spent on anything that will block out noise, from expensive Bose noise cancelling head phones (too bulky to sleep in) I have also tried ordinary foam ear plugs and wax ear plugs. These are the only ones I have found successfully.I appreciate that they take a bit of getting use to, to fit into the ear, but they are worth their weight in gold. They block out my partner’s snoring and the birds singing right next to the open bedroom window at 4am!!The only thing I am concerned about is not hearing my alarm going off in the morning. At the moment I’m not working but I will be very soon. So far my brain has acknowledged hearing a faint familiar sound of the alarm. What I’m going to start doing is sticking my mobile phone under my pillow. My other option is to buy a vibrating alarm clock you pop under your pillow. It’s designed for people with hearing difficulties.I can’t be without my ear plugs now every night because they help me get to sleep so much quicker, I’m not laying in bed for over an hour listening to snoring or heavy breathing which drives me nuts! We all need our sleep to be able to function!!

My favourite
Very soft and comfortable. Not as noise reducing as some of the firmer ones but they are comfortable after many hours of use. I use them on my motorcycle on full days ride outs. I’ve even slept with them in on a noisy ferry they are that comfortable

So comfy for side sleeping 😴
These are great and if like me you have tried many various ear plugs then these totally fit ears especially ones with smaller canals. They can be reused up to 3 x as I just wipe them with sanitizer and it does not seem to perish the product. Easy to roll and insert. Great quality 👌

Best ones i've tried that don't cause pain
Tried a few different ones, i cut some of the expanded end off these, pull ears upwards & make sure to push them deep enough in & let expand for a few seconds before letting go. click my fingers to make sure they're in enough (noise dampened). They don't block out all the noise but they block a good amount of it basically the same as other normal foam ones, but with no ear pain. used some foam weather stripping door edge sealing for maybe an extra 10%-15% sound reduction. good enough for most nights

Amazing
I have used these for years. They are comfortable and block out about 90% of the noise. I find this perfect as I like to still be able to hear my alarm going off in the morning.
