I have a Google Pixel phone and this adapter is not good for it at all!Adapter works fine when loud continuous audio is playing, but has a weird static noise when audio is quiet or whenever there's silence. I can barely hear anything over the static if people are talking quietly in anything I listen to.For the price it's seriously not worth it, wish Google would just sell the adapter OEM.

I tested the product with a Pixel 2 XL with $9 headphone plugs, $40 Headphone plugs, and an $18 headset. There was constant buzzing with all three earpieces, and clicking noises when using the headset mic, which could be heard by the person I called. I will return the product. The buzzing and clicking were low volume and did not make the product unusable, but the sound is of insufficient quality when I think a few dollars more will produce a better result.All three test devices worked fine in the native 3.5 mm plug in my recently expired Pixel XL.The physical quality seemed good.I will return the product.

Terrible product that does not work. Plugged this into multiple speakers and all I heard was static crackling. If I moved the connector around I could find a spot where music would play intermittently, but there was always static in the background.

As soon as the adapter was plugged into my Google Pixel 2 XL, the phone shut off. This was attempted several times, and each time it was plugged in, the adapter never failed to immediately turn my phone off. The next day, I discovered that somehow the charger that came with my phone no longer worked, but my other one did- most likely because the phone was plugged into the now broken charger soon after testing the adapter. In conclusion, the adapter not only obviously doesn't work, but perhaps even short circuits my phone and chargers.. This was guaranteed not a user error.

Works well

Ordered 2 of these, and returned both immediately. I was a little suspicious about the quality when they arrived and one cord was a half inch longer than the other. Nonetheless, I tested both to see if they would work. Both cords created a fuzzy static sound when plugged into my Pixel 2, and it would crackle whenever the cord moved. Tried two different sets of headphones which were functioning fine. Looking over many of the past reviews now, many of them are for an entirely different product - some kind of toiletry kit. Definitely some kind of review hacking going on here by the seller.
