Wears like iron and flies fairly well. The only thing is that it doesn’t accept liquid scents particularly well. Go with wax based scents if you lack a lot of patience for the liquid to fully dry, ‘cus it ain’t absorbing.Floats fine for duck dogs.

Replacement Dummy - 1st one wore out fairly fast
Our dog LOVES retrieving the dummy whether on land or into the water. We don't recommend too many times shooting it into a pond or lake, but it does float. Top seam stitching has come apart fairly quickly on the other 2 we've bought

Great training device helps shy dogs.
I already had the white one. They work great. They do float. Sometimes they do not launch as far after the inside gets wet, until the inside dries again. Dog fully enjoys them and the canvas covers hold up a reasonable amount. You're certainly not buying a new one everyday. We just missed a water retrieve on a windy day, lost the white, purchased a new orange. Thumbs up.
