Very pleased with how powerful the light is!
The media could not be loaded. For a quick background on me...I do a lot of deep shipwreck diving in the Great Lakes, as well as searching for and documenting historic shipwrecks. (Check out Blueyes Below on Facebook!)I received this light for free in exchange for an unbiased review. That being said...I am suprised with how powerful the light is!It all comes in a proper hard plastic carrying case with foam cutouts for everything, so the packaging is A+!The dual battery charger is "ok" but you have to make sure the batteries are put in it just right and not bumped while they are charging. This is because it will show a green light like they are fully charged...even if they are not. This is due to a bit of sideways play in the battery tray and it not making good contact on the positive end. Not a big deal, just something to note. The light easily fit in my drysuit pocket and was great for lighting up parts of the wreck for my dive partner to photograph and for looking into dark sections of the wreckage to see what treasures may be hidden!I really like the twist to turn on feature better than the tail end push button on the 1000 lumen light from the same company. The twist function does not accidentally get turned on while diving when the light is not needed. The beam is narrow and very strong! (think underwater lightsaber!)The light housing itself appears very well made and sturdy. Spare O rings are included with the kit if they are needed. I will definitely be carrying this light on my deeper and darker dives as a primary light when not using my two video lights, especially when penetrating shipwrecks. For the price it is listed at, it's absolutely worth having one in your kit!

Great Light!! Wide Beam, Super Bright!
The media could not be loaded. We dive almost every weekend. Most of our diving is in "brown" water in quarries and lakes. Having a long lasting, bright dive light is essential as it's typically needed below about 20 feet at most of our dive locations. We own and use a multitude of 1000 lumen lights. This Odepro D2000P at 2000 lumens is awesome, especially at the sub $100 price point.Pros-- Super bright even in brown water-- Color allows for good visualization, some brighter lights will create a ton of scatter and not be able to see-- Simple, one level of light by turning head-- Long lasting 18650 batteries that are economical and easy to charge-- Dual charger, to charge both batteries at once (you'd be surprised at companies that send single charger)-- Though a larger body, not too heavy. Doesn't create fatigue while holding-- Handle is small enough that it could fit in a hand case, but would probably decrease wrist mobilityCons-- Though bright enough, wouldn't suggest using for a video light. As you see in video there is a "hot spot" in the middle-- I wish the hold for the lanyard was just a tad bit bigger that I could easily get a ring in there to use a double enderThis is an awesome light that will definitely become my primary light, with a 1000 lumen as the backup. Will probably buy a second one for my son.

Great Focus and Brightness
This is a bulletproof light with incredible brightness and consistent burn time.I burn tested with supplied batteries and got 90minutes burn time.Twist on head is very reliable, and the light feels good in the hand- not too big.Makes a great backup light for serious dives, or a great main light for those just getting into the sport.Burn time could be longer to allow for more safety in long dives as this is basically a necessity for a backup light.

Excellent value dive light
I haven't had a chance to dive with this light yet due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but I can certainly speak to the fit and finish. Initially I was a bit skeptical about the overall quality because of the comparable prices of lights in this segment, but when I received my order, I was blown away. The D2000P comes very well packaged, includes a strap, batteries, and a charger, and the flashlight itself is very substantial. It's also very bright and I have no doubt it'll suit me well on my next dive trip. If I could offer a suggestion for improvement, I'd much prefer a model that was button activated instead of twist activated.

Great Twist On Tech Backup Light
I have several dives with this light where I deployed it as I would a backup light. It turns on very easily with a short twist of the head. The light is a nice bright white light that has a fairly tight beam to shine back into crevices or signaling your buddy.I did a Lux light test with it and got 24,000 lux. Very nice for a light of this size. The tail has a nice spot to tie on a stainless bolt snap. The metal body of this light has a very nice finish and appears very durable.Overall I would recommend this light as a nice backup for tech diving or even a primary for recreational diving.
