OdiCoat, Gel, 7 x 7 x 8 cm

I bought this to see if it would work on a dog jacket I really liked. The jacket was meant to be waterproof but instead it soaked up all the water and was in wearable. This stuff was easy to apply and worked after only 2 coats - it does make the jacket rustle more now but it’s wearable and the dog and I are both happy

This is great find. I was making sunglasses cases from cotton and having applied this before sewing them I now have water resistant oil cloth cases. They look far better than just cotton and will be wipe clean which is a great feature. I'm thinking I might use it on canvas shoes- great little product.To use I just painted a thin layer with a paintbrush and after 20 minutes did a second coat. A little seems to go a long way. (I've made about 12 cases and used a quarter of it)

Product was very good I used it for waterproofing aprons for children but it would be nice if you'd had a spatula or something to put it on with it's a bit messy

Ive been using odicoat for a few years on handmade bags and it is an excellent product. It was factory sealed in plastic with a plastic application card (like a debit card size), its the first time ive received it sealed like this and its only the second time ive received an application card so it does depend on seller purchased from if it comes like this. I dont personally use the card and prefer to apply with a 1" good quality paint brush as you have more control in applying and it gets worked into woven fabrics better.It really does waterproof fabric and protects fabric.

Having seen this product on several shopping channels I was curious but skeptical it actually worked.Apart from being a tad messy to apply, I used an old bank card, it really does waterproof the fabric!I let it dry overnight and ironed it to be sure it was set.I tested the fabric with a splash of water. It just sat there on top.I used it on garden cushions.

I treat the fabric before sewing the item. Is easy to sew as long as you clip pieces together well to avoiding them shifting. Needs 3 coats to completely prevent water seeping through to the fabric but i find 2 coats is great for bags etc and makes product go further.

No need for waterproof fabric because this product turn my normal fabric into waterproof. I will buy it again
