While you install led headlights into your car and meet the problems like the situation below, you may need a decoder. (1) While you turn on the light after installation, the bulb keep flashing. Fit to Germany cars which need electronic decoding. There is a CANBus electronic inspect for the light while you turn on the engine of Germany cars, so it needs electronic decoding. And our decoder can offer this electronic decoding function. For some Germany cars, the system will also check the working power of the headlights bulbs after you turn it on. In this situation, you still need to add a resistor on the headlight bulbs to satisfy the demand of power. 2. Fit to pulse power supplied cars. Pulse power supplied capacitance is a technology to reduce the heat value of halogen bulbs, make the lifespan be longer, and save more power on working. But led headlights need constant current supplied, not pulse power supplied this kind of intermittent power supply. So while you install the led headlights into the car with pulse power supplied device, the led headlight bulbs will keep flashing or flash and then lights off. In this situation, decoder will be a large capacitance and store up the electric on it and keep supply to the led headlights bulb current constantly. Steer Clear!
Would not recommend.Upon arrival, one of the units did not work (the headlight just wouldn’t turn on). After some investigating, I realized that one of the wires from the connector was loose and failing to make a good connection within the connector. I had to reposition the wire so it would contact the other connector (from the car) properly. Furthermore, once I fixed this so that the headlight would turn on, it did not cancel the error from the car - and in fact made it worse. It would cause the car to sporadically and frequently have a “fit” and tell me the headlights were out, then go back to being fine, then tell me they were out again, and go back and forth almost continuously and instantly.Started return process I received them.For reference I have a 2015 Volvo S60.

Fixed my led high beams from going off
Great Product, easy to install and does exactly what it said it would. I bought led lights for my 2019 Jeep and every time I turned the high beam on they would go out. The company I bought them from via amazon hasn’t sent a fix so I ordered this and it now my high beams work.
