Our family of 7 had lice, and we initially began treating it naturally with essential oils and other "home remedies". We were not having success but refuse to use "chemical" treatments, so we purchased a gallon of the Clearlice Shampoo and a gallon of the Clearlice treatment Conditioner. We followed the directions as stated, and lice was gone after the 1st treatment. (We had intentions of doing a follow-up treatment for good measure, but never really did.) To make handling easier and because the gallon containers are large, I put the shampoo and conditioner each in some cheap plastic condiment containers and each member of the family came to me at the sink and I washed their hair with the sink sprayer, then squirted on the shampoo/conditioner as recommended. Buying it by the gallon also gave us enough to share with any friends we thought we might have exposed to lice. (You could consider buying a gallon and dividing it w/other families if you have a group of friends with lice.)Even though the lice is long gone, I have continued to use this shampoo/conditioner with regular bathing just because I love, love, love the product! It has a wonderful smell, feels good on your skin and our hair looks wonderful. (We have all varieties of hair in our household -- long, short, wavy, straight...) The gallon is pricy, but per ounce, it's comparable in price to other quality hair products from the store, so I don't mind using it for daily use now that the lice is gone. Also, we will hold a little back and use it before, during and after over-seas mission trips, or other exposure to possible lice situations.I highly recommend it and have zero complaints.(I have read reviews where some stated that the shampoo/conditioner dried out their hair and/or scalp, but I think this is because during the treatment the shampoo product sits on your hair for so long - and any soap/shampoo on your skin will cause drying - but the product is WONDERFUL and the conditioner is very restorative!)

If you use it as instructed, it makes your hair fall out. My hair is so damaged and thin because of this product that I did not use it on my children. USE COCONUT OIL AND A NIT COMB. Do not waist your money and damage your hair with this product!!
