The name "Hevea" originates from the Latin name for a genus of rubber trees, Hevea Brasiliensis. Made in Malaysia.

Baby’s favorite pacifier! The rubber is softer than the solid ...
Baby’s favorite pacifier! The rubber is softer than the solid silicone pacifiers, and our little one prefers this one! We like the shape and he will reach up and grasp the handle part when it’s in his mouth and hold it in (he’s 2 weeks now) and I love that it’s all natural and non-toxic and it doesn’t leave any red marks on his face!! If you like the design on this but dislike the rubber then I’d recommend the Chicco Natural fit - we have both and they are very similar but little prefers this one! (But will take both :)

Only paci my breastfed son likes
My son (7 weeks old) is breastfed & takes expressed milk out of a comotomo bottle a few times a week. We tried 3 different silicone pacifiers, avent soothie, mam newborn, and nuk and he didn't like any of them. silicone pacis are just not soft enough for him, too rigid. He likes this rubber one because like my nipple, he can easily keep it in his mouth after he is done eating. I will definitely buy more of these!

plastic peels off
the pacifier is peeling. I bought a second one and that is also peeling.maybe my baby sucks too hard but the nipple part started to peel so i had to pull off the peeling plastic so she didn't swallow it.it's really strange.(in the pic i already peeled most of the plastic off so you can see just a small bit left)

Super cute
It is a good quality paci, it feels thick and durable. It’s nice that it’s all natural and that it’s all one piece. My son took to this pacifier pretty well, though he honestly just prefers the boob.My issue with it is that I popped one in a mug of hot water to clean it and it got discolored. It was by no means an old pacifier; my son is less than a month old and I got this when he was over 1 week old. It says to boil for five minutes to sterilize before first use so putting it in a mug of hot water shouldn’t have been too much for it as it was not as hot as boiling water.

Very nice but also tiny
Very niceI love that it’s all one pieceThe 0-3 months is very small I would think it would work best on premie babies or smaller babies it’s much smaller than any 0-3 months pacifiers would suggest buying the 3-36 months one

Eh!
I bought this for my two month old who strictly breastfeeds. She refuses to take a bottle or binky. I thought we'd give this one a try. She didn't take it but that's not the reason for such a low rating. The nipple has a seam on it that makes it feel like it's going to tear open at the slightest bite. I've actually bit it to see and it is actually quiet strong. Other than that it seems good, she just wouldn't take it.

Preference for Breastfed Baby
I bought all the typical plastic/ silicone pacifiers offered in a store for my second exclusively breastfed baby - she gagged and refused them all (she actually sucked on a MAM one for a few minutes maybe twice). She took to the Hevea one nearly instantly! It is so so much softer and squishy, like a real nipple. It has a mild rubber smell that I believe will fade with time, it doesn't seem to bother my daughter. The only thing I don't love about this is the giant loop/handle.

Hard to clean
This binky was a hit for my newborn but I soon realized it’s really annoying to clean and easily harbors bacteria/germs in the shapes. Also, when he sucks too hard the shapes leave red imprints on his lips, I’m scared they’ll bruise. It’s big for being 0-3 (compared to other comparable brands like nature sutten, but he likes this size.

Pacifiers for Dummies
So it seems to me that the tide has turned against everything that isn't pure breastfeeding with no aides. This I assumed was the best option, until actually having a child forced me to compromise. My child would have been unable to breastfeed if it wasn't for nipple shields - nipples to flat to latch properly.Alright, do a dummy serves no nutritional need, and I vaguely remember studies or such saying they either make breastfeeding more difficult or change mouth development. Personally I think the evidence it does this is weak. We don't use this product often: in fact only twice in our babies first weeks. But it has helped soothe as babies will sometimes seek comfort through sucking and they'll be in a situation where you can't feed- such as car seat. Here the dummy bridges the gap.Natural rubber is most sustainable and healthiest and use this sensibly. It's not a plastic monstrosity like it's competition and will likely draw ire if used out and about but it helped us when we needed a few minutes grace. Our baby incredibly well nourished too so no worries on it adversely affecting feeds.

Great natural rubber dummy
Bought this for ocasional use as noticed my baby trying to suck her thumb. For my oldest 3 never used a single dummy, but had no problem with thumb sucking, so opted for dummy this time instead. Baby took the dummy ok. Unfortunatelly i think her need for sucking (and thumb sucking as well) has increased since introduced dummy, but it's not this dummy's fault. Cannot compare with other dummies, but i think this is great dummy. Made from one piece natural rubber. That was the main reason i chose this one not the ones made of artificial material. I don't find it awfully smelly as some other reviewers has said, it has some smell the moment you take it out of whatever pouch you hold it in, but then it's gone in a moment. Baby doesn't mind it at all. Would buy again if needed, but as i bought it for ocassional use, probably will be ok with just one.Just a quick note - from description and pictures it is a bit confusing what size dummy it is. It is 0-3 months (not the 3-36 months as the one in one of the pictures). My baby will be 3 months soon and I can see her using this dummy way past that age.

Great dummies!
I really like these dummies, I like the fact they sit off the babies face a bit so they don’t get that horrible dummy’s rash around their mouths. Also they’re natural. A real sanity saver when you have twins! I have ordered the smaller size also after realising this wasn’t the smallest size you can get. They’re quite pricey but worth the money I’d say.My only complaint and reason they don’t get 5 stars is that delivery is super slow!!! I’m still waiting for the smaller size to be sent out even though it’s been a few days since I ordered them.

Strange smell
Loved the look of them, lovely design but the teat seems to be too long and made my baby gag and also, it gives off a terrible smell after being sterilised - a burnt chemical smell. Appreciate it’s made from natural rubber but it’s quite unpleasant

Nice, but maybe too big for newborn
This dummy is well made and nice, however I believe it is too big for a newborn. I tried several times to use with my baby, but in the end she preferred another one I have in silicone, probably because a bit smaller and easier to suck. I will try to use this one again in a few weeks when she's a bit older and see.
