Absolutely gorgeous chandelier. This light is much larger than I had pictured when I measured the area. Hung from an 8ft ceiling at the shortest length possible will still put this light at just under 5ft above the floor. Be sure your table is wide enough so people will not hit the light when trying to reach over the table.This chandelier was securely packed and easy to assemble. Two or more people are definitely needed to install, as the light is far too large and heavy for one person to handle on their own. Looks amazing in the dining room. Really makes a big impact with sleek, modern style. Highly recommended.

The Sea Gull Lighting 4124601-05 Alturas One Light Wall / Bath Sconce Chrome I received looks exactly as pictured. The fixture is very light weight and the glass shade is very thin. They provide a tool to tighten the plastic screw that attaches the shade to the fixture BUT it is nearly impossible to tighten the shade so it is secure and centered on the fixture. I was unable to use the fixture in my bathroom. I wound up breaking the shade during the attempted installation and just used the fixture as a wall light in my basement utility room. IMO it is garbage.

Love the fixture! Bought 2, I for each bedroom. Unfortunately I didn’t realize lights don’t automatically come with switches anymore!! Who would have guessed that! So after the first one was up and working beautifully, did we realize it wouldn’t work for the 2nd bedroom! Hope this helps someone else! I also put it up with the shade facing down! Just love it!!

Does no one think about ease of installation when designing light fixtures? The screws were too long, had to go buy more, and the instructions not very good. The glass shade doesn’t just center itself, but has to be moved a little right, a little left.. good grief.

The first arrived broken. Easy to understand once you realize how thin is the glass... The quality material is pretty poor but you probably get what you are paying for.Not that hard to set and adjust to sit perfectly on the wall. Nice looking.

Replaced a dated fix in the half bath during a recent remodel. Light appears solid well made and looks good. Easy install.

I have had several of the half globes crack. They are VERY thin at the bottom where they take all the weight. Sever design flaw. Don't buy this.

I'm very pleased with this chandelier. It's the perfect accent over my freestanding tub. The brushed brass finish matches my pendant lights perfectly - even though from a different manufacturer. Very sleek, modern design.

Looks clean and works perfectly with the flaming led bulbs which are larger than standard bulbs.
