Tacony Corporation Klasse Twin Ball Point Machine Needle, Size 4.0mm/80 1/Pkg

This needle was just fine. I needed to shorten some new tee shirts, so I used this twin needle and Pellon Knit and Stable tape. The combination of these two products was featured in an on-line tutorial. The needle performed beautifully, and you cannot tell the shirts were shortened. The new stitching looks just like the original. I bought two of the twin needles, because in the past I've been known to break a twin needle by not using the correct foot.

So thankful I was able to get them on line. The closet place that sells theses needles is 1/2 hour away. They are great quality needles.

The ball point is what I needed for my polyester fabric. No more skilled stitches!

I'm giving this needle two stars because it could have been my fault, I'm still new, but while trying to learn how to use it (could get it to work perfectly on woven cotton, but it was skipping stitches on jersey), one of the threads got caught, and one of the needles snapped in half. Booo. I think I'll stay away from this brand in the future.

This needle was rec'd with a flaw- some scoring along the side of the right needle that is causing major skipped stitches on 2 machines. Too expensive to ignore, but not worth tracking across town to return. Frustrating.
