LOVE this. Searched for an option to ride my kid to school with that didn’t involve some $1000 bike upgrade. This product is perfect and my 50lb child loves it. It is well balanced and the little handlebar helps my kid feel secure and aligned with me. We talk the whole ride and it’s become a neat way to share time before and after school. We discuss balance and how to lean into turns etc. For reference, Henny is 8 and is horrified of riding a bicycle. While excellent at scooter riding that wasn’t the most effective option for the length of distance to school. This works well for us both. The little foot pegs are perfect and I’ve mounted this on a rack that is rated to 120lbs. My bike is an Electra Townie, a very upright hybrid. We will use it for as long as it’s comfortable for us both!

Great seat
Great seat. My 3.5 year old rides perfectly on the back. We bought the bike rack that supports up to 100lbs to go with this seat.

damaged product & cheap parts
The handlebar/ arm rest was delivered bent and looked like it had been used. Also, the screws to secure the seat onto the bicycle rack do not lock, making it hard to tighten the bolts, which are likely to become lose with use. The cross bars to secure the seat don't have any protection and are likely to scratch the bike rack as well. The spring system of the footrest isn't well designed. It doesn't lock in one position (up or down). Overall it's a good design, with bad implementation and cheap parts. With a little more thought they could improve this product without increasing the cost significantly. The vendor should pay more attention on quality control and not recycle damaged parts without checking it first, as it was my case.

I would recommend this as a decent economy add on child seat ...
The kit worked well on our old city cruiser. Build quality seems middle of the road. I considered putting loc tight on the bolts because I was concerned vibration would loosen up the nuts. I decided not to use the loc tight and see how the bolts and nuts hold up. Overall, I would recommend this as a decent economy add on child seat but don’t expect to be impressed with the materials used in the kit.

Customize was needed
With little customize everything turn out ok. For those that not creative then I have no comment. First I had to bend the metal inorder to fit from holding the seat in place. Second the foot rest I had to drill the holes bigger in order to fit. After that everything worked. Also didn't have the room for the handle bar though.

Good product but could have been better
I loved this seat. I just wish it had one more set of bolts to hold it down. It makes it a little awkward to attach if the gap isn't just right on your bike, My son enjoyed it and his brother is jealous and wants us to get one for Dad's bike.

Its ok
For the price its ok. Pretty cheaply made but it gets the job done. The handle portion doesnt fit around some bike seats that are smaller. My wifes huffy from walmart doesnt fit the handle for this thing.
