I got this for my son's iPad Mini and he has been using it since Christmas 2014. The product does an excellent job of protecting the iPad and all the controls of the tablet are fully accessible. He does not have to remove it for charging or headphone use. The corner bumpers are well sized to provide good physical protection without being in the way of use. I also like the way that it provides benefits of both hard and soft cases.The smart cover is part of the hard shell and they are removable as a unit, leaving the silicon case still attached. It turns the iPad off/on as it should and does function correctly as a stand. The Apple cover is slightly better as a stand, however it does not have any of the other protection this product provides. The smart cover also matches the "knobs" of the corner bumpers. This is excellent protection, however I have a one-hand flip that I'm used to using to close the cover on my iPad. Because of those knobs, it doesn't quite work here.Note well, though, that this is only a case and cover. While it does keep the screen of the table when face down, it does NOT provide screen protection and it is not intended to. I've always had mixed feelings about screen protectors and since my son has proven suitably responsible over the years, I haven't used one for him. This isn't a negative, but simply something of which one should be aware.Overall, I'm quite happy with this product and would readily purchase it again.

Got this for my kid's new iPad mini. Works very well, the auto wake/shut works well and useful because my kid keep forgetting to turn off the iPad after she's done with it, so just closing the cover will auto turn it off, and it's automatically on when she flips open the cover. The stand works well too, she used it a lot, when we are at the restaurant or in the car, she can play with it with the stand on. Also, the bumpers on all corners fit the iPad nicely and seems like it will protect the iPad well in case if was every dropped. My child has been careful not to drop it yet, so I have no chance to test those bumpers yet, but they look like they provided enough cushion. As for the screen, it does not come with those screen protector like the Otterbox case, so I bought one of those glass-tempered screen protector to protect the screen.

This has been a well fitting and durable case after a months use. I use it primarily for my iPad and playing Clash of Clans. I'm not tossing it around or dumping drinks on it though because I would've bought something Otter Box-y or Life Proof-y if I was abusing it that much. It's survives several pets knocking it about periodically. It's not very bulky at all. The purple is a medium grape color. I would buy it again.

Super nice! I originally bought the iPad mini cover that had 4000+ reviews thinking that surely it was amazing. Sadly, I was disappointed. It offered no protection, except from scratches, at all! I saw this case, but honestly thought that the pictures make it look very juvenile. I took a chance and ordered it in black. I have no doubt that my iPad will be well protected. After Christmas I'll update about fit and feel since my husband is making me wait. Just from the design alone of it I can tell it's pretty solid. It has a hard outer shell, an inner silicone piece with corner protectors and all of that fits into a really nice feeling folder type case. I'll update soon

Love this case. Have it for an iPad mini that belongs to my two year old, so it gets TONS of use and abuse. It is super durable and protects exceptionally well. Why the 2 stars then? I am having an issue with the "sleep/wake" function. It seems the magnet in the cover does not always line up with the location on the iPad that triggers the case to go to sleep. This causes the iPad to stay awake sometimes when I flip the cover closed and do not make sure it was in the right position. I can slide the cover over about 1/2" after closing it and it puts the iPad to sleep but this is kinda annoying. Other than that I love love love the case. I would give it 5+ stars if the "sleep/wake" function worked. Maybe caseformers could just make the magnet in the cover larger.

I bought these for my classroom iPads, and they've worked very well. I needed something sturdy to protect the iPads if they were dropped by little hands. I wanted four different colors so I could tell a small child, "Go work with the purple one." I love that it has a little stand built in so the kids can work comfortably without the glare of the lights on the screen, and without leaning over the table, craning their little necks to see the screen. This turned out to be just what I needed and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cover for their iPad Mini.

This was purchased for a 9 y.o.'s ipad mini. The protection is significant without being cumbersome. For some reason, getting the screen to tilt upright (only horizontally) took a bit to figure out, but it works fine. The important thing is that the device is secure and protected- and it is- for a good value, much less expensive than some more technical protective gear.

This is a really sharp looking and protective case. Love that it auto-sleeps the i-pad as you close the front cover. I havent dropped it yet, but think it will protect just fine. Only gripe is the hole for the headphone adapter is quite thin. Won't be a problem for most headphones, but some of the more sturdy plugs may have a problem.
