Actually measure before ordering so you're not stupid like me.
I wanted it to make an adjustable bed for my laser cutter so I could bring the object into the focus point of my laser which isn't adjustable. The complete folded up height of this thing is right at the focus point of my laser so anything I need to engrave or cut is out of focus. ... I'll order a shorter one but measure first. I vastly over estimated the depth of my machine from memory.

Finish and coating already were comming off when I received it.

Perfect for the hobbyist! I am using it on a modified K40.
Also going to drill two holes in the bar that has the dial on it and mount a servo to move it for me. Inexpensive automated Z Axis. (Accurate enough for hobby use)

Awful razor-sharp unfinished edges!!! Do not buy!!!
Cheap offshore crap - razor sharp edges cut me in multiple places. Dangerous crap unsuitable for lab or teaching use!!!!!

Low Grade Stainless
The platforms started to rust immediately. The gear mechanism and scissor part are fine. Got what I expected.
