Works great, very sturdy and easy to install!
The out-front mount helped reduce the clutter on my handle bars, while allowing me to carry more electronics on a ride.

Not wide Enough
Product overall looks good and feels good, but the openings are not wide enough to fit my bike, and had to be drilled out further.

Nice, but I wish they made a smaller size
This mount is nice, but I wish they made it in a smaller size as well. Obviously this is designed with the big 10xx Garmin units, but when used for the smaller 5xx/8xx units, there is a significant gap (see pic). A smaller size would look more elegant.

Not the most elegant mount
This mount does what it is advertised to do and that is part of the problem. Given that it is both a computer and GoPro mount it is way overbuilt for just a computer mount. It is heavier than a computer mount alone needs to be. Also, the use of long screws with the spacers creates a definite added on appearance. There is a real opportunity for someone to design a more elegant mount that integrates better with stem. As it was, I ended up not using the mount. Since I needed a change in stem length I went with an Easton EA90 stem that has an dedicated mount and looks much nicer.

Wrong size
Went to mount and the bolts are M4 not M5 like on my stem. Checked other bike M5 too

Works great, watch the spacer though!
The Ritchey stem I was using initially with this had angled stem bolts, which made it very hard to get the right torque applied to the four bolts. I ended up having a loose handlebar on my ride and really had to crank everything down to stop it from moving.I got annoyed with my Edge 530 being tilted 15+ degrees up (made it hard to see when the morning sun was in front of me), so I purchased a new stem which had straight stem bolts. When I put the mount onto the new stem, I noticed it was now way off center, leaning out to the right. I took everything apart again and found I'd managed to crush one of the spacers while trying to keep my handlebars from moving on that previous ride. :P I've roughly corrected it by tossing on an extra washer, but do be careful of the torque spec.Meanwhile, I've mounted my 530 and then a GoPro to Cygolite mount adapter underneath for my daytime strobe (Cygolite Metro 1100) and really love how it has uncluttered my cockpit. It's a good mount for the money, just watch that spacer and make sure your stem angle and stem bolts themselves will allow your computer to sit at an angle that's acceptable to you on the bars since you're at the mercy of the stem angle for your computer tilt (I know, obvious but overlooked by some folks).

Inexpensive but mounts weirdly and at an angle
Took a bit of fussing to get this mount on and it's simple and feels sturdily built (if a little heavy), however two gripes are:1) the screw mount fit strangely on my stem and I think has made it difficult/impossible to fully tighten my handlebars. They fell once midride when I went over a bump. It could have been my own error but I think the not well-designed system makes it tough to clamp the screws tightly, at least with my stem.2) the positioning, which is not adjustment due to the screw mount system, shoots the mount outward diagonally upward, which is makes seeing screen and touching buttons easier but isn't straight outward and thus purely "aero", if you care about that kind of thing (for performance, anesthetics or otherwise). Might just be my particular stem and bike but I suppose its a general downside to stem "out front" screw mounts vs out front handlebar mounts (like the one included with the Edge 830) that allow you to set position at whatever angle you like.

on the right track, but not perfect...
The way this out-front mount arrives would work for many of you (I'm looking at just about everyone who does not have my configuration, I guess). I happen to have cross/inline brake levers that are positioned such that the cables create a congested area right around the two lower handlebar clamp bolts. There is a curve in the mount where it meets the curve in the clamp, such that it seems to be designed to install at the lower position. I suspect that is the safer position - if you turn the bike over to change a tire, for instance, you are less likely to scratch up or bend or break the mount and whatever device is mounted to it.Since I have the mess of inline brake cables, there was no way to to install the mount and also fit a device or two to it. So, I took a shot at the top clamp bolt position. As built, it doesn't work, because the quarter-turn and friction mounts would be reversed. All I needed to do was to unscrew the 4 tiny hex nuts holding the Garmin receiving piece and the GoPro receiving piece with the smallest size hex wrench in my bike kit, and essentially turn it upside down. This allowed me to install the mount such that the mount fit more cleanly against the handlebar clamp.I am using this for my new Garmin Varia RDU, which I am using along with my Polar m460, which is stem-mounted. If anything odd transpires with my user experience, I'll report it. Otherwise, just know it is a very easy install if you don't need to be creative. Even if you do, as I did, it did not add a lot of time to the installation. One suggestion- try to use loose hex wrenches, instead of the ones that are fixed to a hinge, like those included in a toolbag kit. Your job will go much faster. So, why the low score? I could not get my installation to work 100%. For one, I did not receive the little black tubes /sleeves pictured - I think they must be intended to help keep the screws in alignment with the threads. That may have helped create a better fit. Maybe? I suspect this may the cause, or at least related to the fact that no matter how tight I make the screws, my drop handlebars will not stay in place. Actually, 95% of the time, on smooth roads, it is wonderful. However, there is always one spot on one of my rides where I am moving along with considerable speed with my hands on the hoods, or in race position, and I hit an unavoidable bump or lip on a bridge, and my handlebars drop down to the point of nearly causing an accident. If I anticipate the bump in advance, I can shift my hands to the top position. with no weight on the hoods.... but I'm not good enough to always do that.I hope that the company can get back to me with those black sleeves, and hope that helps to properly clamp the handlebars. Until then, I will be cycling a bit more cautiously, and lowering my rating to 1 star. I hope this gets attention.
