Brought new life to an old bike. Better quality than OEM.
Installed this in a few hours on my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 650R. My bike runs like new again. This chain is silky smooth and quiet. The OEM chain had over 25k miles on it and was past due for a change. My sprockets were quite worn due to the failing chain, and I figured an upgrade from OEM couldn't hurt either. This X-Ring chain should last longer than the OEM O-Ring chain did. The rear sprocket is also lighter than the original. The kit did not include any specifications or directions for use, but I was able to find them online. I could not find this kit cheaper anywhere else on the web either. It was a great deal. The hardest part of the installation was removing the front sprocket nut. I put the bike in neutral with a board between the wheel and swing arm. A large air impact wrench had no luck getting the nut loose, but a breaker bar with a 6 foot pipe finally did. I purchased a cheap copy of the Motion Pro chain tool from Amazon as well to rivet the new chain, but I found that the holes in the plate for pressing the master link together did not line up with the master link pins, so I purchased a brand name tool locally instead for significantly more money.

Great Chain -IF- Maintenanced properly!
This is my second purchase of this chain and sprocket. Does operates as intended. With proper maintenance you should be able to get 10,000 miles before needing a replacement. However, I will say at about 8k you will notice the chain beginning to stretch.Pro Tip: Buy a Rivet kit.

I bought this kit for my 08 Kawasaki Ninja 650R. The current chain has met its match and needs to be replaced along with the sprockets. I was surprised to see that both the sprockets are JT branded sprockets, and the chain is amazing. I ordered a connecting link along with the kit just incase, but the kit actually includes the connecting link. I have yet to install this yet, but I will update my review after installing and giving it a ride! So far, the quality way exceeds the price!Update: Other than the front sprocket retaining bolt being impossible to take off everything fits. Impact wrench couldnt even get it off. We cut the bolt and hit it with the impact which got it off. Ordered a replacement bolt from ebay from a wrecked 2015 Ninja 650R. I recommend getting the connecting link with the clip unless you have the tool to put on the rivet link. Its a pain in the arse without the proper tools.

Seems to work just fine with ~1,500 miles so far
I installed set a few months ago and it seems to be rust-free here in Florida. It's been raining a lot, but I keep my motorcycle has a cloth-cover and the chain gets cleaned and lubed every 400 miles. The first rivet link that I had broke during installation. I was very careful with the riveting tool that I bought for just this purpose. I checked the link and seal positions with digital calipers - and I also check the crimped-pin diameter - throughout the process. There was absolutely no reason for it to split prior to reaching the required (minimum) diameter. I ordered another master link and that one didn't split. I check it every time I lube the chain and the pins look fine.

Chain life suspect at only 17k miles
I purchased this kit March 2, 2017. I have only 18,000 miles on this bike and the chain is shot. Previous chain lasted 23,000 miles.I lubed it weekly or biweekly and checked the chain adjustment every time I lubed it.Is this the best quality chain you have? What am I doing wrong? Please Help me out here, I need another chain kit.

Perfect fit for 2006 ninja 650r.
2006 650r. Easy to install. The exact same size as the originals on the bike. Master link was a pain but with some vice gripes and enough squeezing it popped right on there.
