I gave it 3 only because it is much firmer than I would like, yet I understand it might need to be for some, yet I make it work. When I wake with a severe sinus headache in the morning (the way too early to get up yet am), I add pillows (1 head, 1 lower) and I can go back to sleep. Sinus issues is why I bought one from me and another for my brother. Also, another trick I found is that I can use it on either side as one has a different decline than the other. Soft cover, of course as they say washable. Oh yeah, important, don't make the mistake I did and buy the only the covers. I had to go back and buy the pillows. I was born blonde:)

Bought this for my husband who has much back and hip pain. But it is so firm that it is not comfortable. It is very big also. So if you want a very firm large wedge then this will work for you. I am going to sell it because it just doesn't work for us. Nothing wrong with the product--good service, nice material without flaws.

Good stiffness with the pillow as it remains firm in its shape yet soft to the touch. The maroon color I got it in is romantic and matches the tone of my bed, and I'm sure it will match yours. The size is good for me to lay against it reading with a second pillow for propping my head up. Sheet can be removed and washed. I have a bunch of pillows when this one is one of my favorites. Pillow technology has come a long way.

This wedge works good but I need one with less of an angle. Maybe about 20 degrees. Very comfortable but a little to steep. My own choice to order this one. I FU'd up.

A great, less expensive alternative to others that we looked into purchasing! It is perfect combination of firm and soft. Works fine on a tempurpedic mattress. When first arrives, take off liner and put through the wash and let the pillow set out a CPL of days to get rid of that "new material" odor, then you are good to go! Husband and I are highly satisfied with our purchase ;)

I ordered the wide unit for resting against the arm of my couch while watching tv. It is exactly what I wanted and provides very firm support.

The item itself is good but just too tall for us

This is a VERY firm pillow. Great as a base for propping pillows on and sitting up in bed.
