RIVETING! - The pages turn themselves!
6 happy endings but oh the journeys! Buckle up though as you'll encounter things you've probably never conceived of. What a wonderful compilation of human suffering, human hope, human idiocy and thankfully, Divine Intervention. Copious tears flowed while laughs resounded during both an aloud reading of this to a family member and alone. Its a super fast read and all homes with teenagers on up need this book - in many rooms. Men are not the only sinners so women can learn about overcoming inner barriers and getting free. You have an inside-the-mind, front row seat and get to watch your fellow humans go from infernal to supernal. There is nothing more uplifting or inspiring. This book will save many from lives of crime, drugs, sin. God bless all the contributors and may all who read this gain greater inner freedom. Amen.

Like a spiritual shot in the arm!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in two days! Easy to read and exhilarating! One of the best books I have ever read about the power of our Blessed Mother Mary's intercession in leading souls to Jesus and His Roman Catholic Church. A great book for anyone. The fact that each of the accounts was written by a man yet alive today makes every word a living witness to the reality of God moving in the world in a powerful way today through His Mother. Through simple testimonies, God's end goal of the salvation of our souls is presented --- and the necessity of our participation in working with Him toward this most important of all goals. To help us, He has given us a very special gift --- His own Mother! This book was like a spiritual shot in the arm for me now some twelve years after my initial reversion to Jesus and His Roman Catholic Church through the intercession of Blessed Mother and the prayer of her Rosary; it has re-kindled a joy and confidence in me after being tempted by doubt in recent years. Thank you, Christine Watkins, for this beautiful work --- and thank you to the Holy Spirit for inspiring you to write it! It is, as Fr. Calloway and others have said, truly anointed! I am sharing it with family and friends! May all who read it grow in faith, love and trust for/in our Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and through her, in Jesus and His Roman Catholic Church.

An incredible read- make sure you have time cause it's very hard to put down
I am always looking for material for our church library and being I am not a reader but enjoy visual movies I lean more in that direction- so when I say these are GREAT!! reads that is quite a statement- Books lose my attention early on so I don't read alot but The Holy Spirit prompted me to buy Of men and Mary and also Transfigured which has given me such a gift of grace and hope! I've ordered several for our church library and gifted friends and my sons as I know they will want to share this with friends of theirs- MORE! than worth the money- a valuable gift to yourself and whoever you share it with- The Holy Spirit is!! alive and well!! Be encouraged in this time of confusion and evil by the blessings and peace these books bring-and be sure to share with others who need also hope-a priceless gift!

Can’t put it down and want to share with friends!
The cover of thus book says it is superb and anointed and transforming. I have to completely agree. I have not wanted to put it down and have already bought more copies to share. The author has a gift with words which really communicate the graces which are so abundantly given in Medjugorje through Our Lady. I would highly recommend it.

Inspirational & full of hope
Loved this book! Each story was so beautiful & inspiring. I could see my own brokenness in each of their testimonies & most importantly, I could see how the mercy of God is constantly at work in our lives & in our world. I was engaged the entire time I was reading it & Im so excited to share this book with my husband & father.

Stories of Gods Amazing Grace, Power and Mercy
This is one of the most profound books I’ve read; astounding real life stories of God’s amazing Grace, power and Mercy. God’s unwavering love for all His children is revealed, and the mission of Christ is fullfilled in the here and now. He came to give sight to the blind, to heal those who are sick, to seek out those who are lost, and to bring to life those who are dead.

Inspiring (but my brow is wrinkled)
It truly was inspiring but I think the author (or the subjects she wrote of) embellished their stories somewhat. I understand that before they find God a lot of folks go through many travails but some of these folks never met a travail that didn't attach itself to them. Frinstance, subject number two: So many things happened to this guy it defied belief: He was a thrill seeker, he tested the limits of life. As a result he went through 6 operations on his wrists, 5 surgeries on his left knee and 1 on his right, broken collarbone, separated shoulder, 8 hours of surgery after a motorcycle crash. On the other hand, when he wasn't involved in corpus fractum, he was the captain of his high school hockey team, performed leads in musicals, read his mother's medical books when he was 5 (he intimates that his mom was a doctor), went to 5 proms with 4 different girls and sponsored a HS Graduation party that had a live band, 500 paying customers, porta-potties and 64 gallons of beer....all before he was 20. And then there was college, but I din't go there and I'm not going there now. All this stuff may well be true but considering I grew up in Brooklyn and was exposed at an early age to the Artists Of Artifice and the Deans Of Duplicity, I will give them the drawback of the doubt.

Varied accounts, well-written, inspiring
The first two accounts were quite amazing transformations, which had me feeling inadequate in my more "Normal" life, and wondering if lukewarmness from people like me is a more serious sin than those revealed. The last four accounts are slower moving and very deeply inspiring. Most of the accounts are not about sudden conversions, but quite long processes. The thought occurred to me that each of us is a work in progress, and that God likes modern abstract art - maybe we can't see or understand the beauty of what He is doing, but it is beautiful nonetheless. I was moved and inspired by this book and I think my wife will like to read it too.

It's honest, if you don't like honesty, don't read it.
As an imperfect Christian myself who has on more than one occasion felt a crisis of faith because of some of the challenges life throws at us, I found this book and the stories of these 6 men to be credible, realistic, believable and honest which makes reading their individual journeys that much more inspiring and touching, even if you have no faith you cannot help but be moved by these stories of spiritual triumph.

Genuinely inspirational. Brilliant!
TOTALLY recommend it as a gift for all types of friends - it has personal testimonies from atheists, murderers (!!) millionaires who lost everything and men who were tormented with sexual struggles etc. The best testimonials I have ever read. Not pious but gritty and honest, yet full of miraculous bits which i really found exciting, reminding me of the early years after my own conversion (in Medjugorge).

Beautiful, blessed, uplifting book!
A very blessed book confirming the truths of our beautiful faith through the wonderful intercession of our Blessed Mother's love in the lives of lukewarm Catholics.God may spit out the lukewarm (Rev 3: 16) but typically for our gracious God it's into the loving arms of his beautiful mother!
