1998 Ford Ranger 2WD coil suspension. One front shock came with the surround falling off. I was able to crimp it back into place. The threads on the front shock top posts are too short. Shimming with about 1/2" of washers I was able to tighten the shock in place. The backs fit with no issue, and the fronts just took a little creativity. So far a smooth ride.

The front shocks had the wrong ends to mount on my 87 ranger. I had to press out the ends it came with and press in the ones off of my old shocks.

Fix well on 2000 Ford ranger xlt 3.0 2 wheel drive

Great value for the shocks. Took less then an hour to install all 4 shocks. Tools needed was a 13mm, 16mm, 18mm, 19mm wrench’s, pry bar and a hammer. To speed up install time cut off the top stud with a saw.

This review is targeting the web page and conflicting information.Online fit check says that this fits 2004 Ford Ranger Edge, but it is not the correct size for the Edge.I am having to pay return shipping and may have to pay restocking fee. Not a good thing.In all fairness to supplier, the product seems to be good by look only as I was not able to use them. I did go back and look a web page. I found, at the bottom, the vehicles that were listed. I found that Rangers with coil springs were the ones covered. The Edge has torsion. The check vehicles fit at top of page and what is stated at bottom are in conflict.

2005 Ranger XL supercab 2WD - replaced all shocks. They work great and nice ride. Amazon shipping tracking system lost them for a week outside Boston but they finally arrived in Canada.
