Best Replacement Chair Wheels You'll Find, 3 Reasons Why
I bought these Stealtho wheels to replace the original wheels that came with my Arozzi Gaming Chair and they are perfect. I use this chair as my primary office chair when I need to grind away at the keyboard creating lengthy business reports and therefore need to be sitting in something stable, ergonomic, and comfortable for hours-on-end. After watching the company founder's video on Amazon I believed he really thought through the design, engineering, and function of these wheels, and it turns out I was right.... And his assistant looks nicely engineered too... 1) Design 2) Engineering 3) Ultimate Function #1 - I bought these because the owner designed them to be a great set of wheels to add to the chair I will be sitting in and moving around on for long periods, where I need both smooth rolling & directional turning, "and" the ability to lock my chair's movement in place when beneficial. I couldn't find a competitive brand that offers the same design options. 2 - The engineering appears to be better than competitors: Two sets of thrust bearing cages for horizontal movement (easier/quicker directional turning across the floor), Two sets of encased bearings for wheel loads and spinning (smoother rolling), Sturdy support skirt where the wheels meet the chair base (prevents sloppy attachment movement), and a Braking Pedal/Lever design that actually works (I can use with my foot, or my hand to lock/unlock). 3 - The ultimate function results in wheels with ultra smooth rolling & directional turning, which also can easily lock in place when needed, creating easier movement while working at my desk, better ergonomics, and steady posture for me when using them on my chair for long periods of time. I find that the wheels are as important as the chair itself for anyone putting in long hours at a keyboard in an office environment. ( I use these wheels on an office chair floor mat, but when I transition off the mat onto the adjacent low profile carpet "and then back", these wheels handle that transition is pretty smoothly) The unique blue color makes them look pretty cool also. I highly recommend these wheels as replacements for anyone who seriously uses an office chair for long periods at a time. Zapper out, 2023-11-04

Really High Quality Silent Caster Wheels
I honestly never realized that a set of caster wheels for an office chair could be so well designed and well built with such high quality materials, but I also never gave much thought to office chair caster wheels. To be fair, before my journey down the office chair rabbit hole I never realized a "quality" office chair was north of $1,000 but I digress. As I said above, these wheels are incredibly well made and feel quite sturdy. The sealed bearings move nicely and the frame is thick steel and not at all flimsy. Purchased these because the chair is used on hardwood floors and I was tired of constantly pulling myself back to the desk every couple minutes and wasn't super excited about one of those clear plastic office floor mats. These wheels move much easier than the OEM ones but even without the brakes applied I don't find myself moving unintentionally anymore. They are also almost completely silent which is a nice bonus because the other ones were most decidedly not. I am now also able to effortlessly roll over a cable, if one happens to get in the way accidentally, without spending the next 20 minutes wondering how a cord got so wrapped and tangled around a crappy plastic wheel while destroying it trying to get it out. As I said before, I had no idea an office chair caster wheel could be so well designed and such high quality but I am really glad this one is because it's perfect for what I needed and I am honestly surprised that it's not twice as expensive. I highly recommend these wheels if you are looking to replace the casters on your chair and am incredibly happy that I chose these ones.

Great added functionality, chair mat gone, wish I knew they existed years ago!
So it was incredibly easy to swap these out, they do roll over transitions from carpet to hardwood better. The are slower on carpet. I bought them because initially I was NOT going to have a rug at all in my newly redesigned home office, but found one I couldn't resist at the end, so I haven't used them straight on my hardwood as much as planned. That said, where it does roll onto it I haven't noticed any marks, but it's only been a few months. I have two dogs in my office as coworkers all day as I work at home, so there is hair and dirt they drag in. As expected, these do not seem to collect much hair or dirt on the wheels at all and it can be wiped off, unlike the other plastic ones that were super rough and caught everything. However I did go to wipe them off, assuming there would be stuff after a month or so, nothing I could see to wipe off! I still did it though to prevent dust build up :) Now will they eventually get knicks etc that collect dirt, probably some day and if I was using on my bare hardwood floors its possible wheel replacement could just be on my to do list every few years or something (it's cheaper than damaged floors). I did buy version with lock and have not used them, maybe bc no sliding with part of the chair on carpet. They do make chairs bit taller, so that could be an issue if already on lowest setting (like my old chair was, but being too tall at lowest setting was one reason it was replaced). The chair is actually mostly on carpet, but upon wood under my desk and I dont feel tilted or anything, i can roll back over the rug transition with a slight push to get over the hump. I had to get up and move it with old wheels. I haven't tested the glow in dark feature, I get off at 5pm and not in my office much at night except to put in and turn on my robot vacuum. It is much easier to roll chair out of the room and over a doorway transition for the frequent vacuuming than old chair wheels without fear of scratching floors. The lame plastic chair mat is finally gone! That thing trapped a ton of hair and dirt under it, I hated it but the old wheels would wrecked floor, wish I researched this years ago. It came up because I was buying a used Steelcase Leap chair and noticed different caster options being offered, these were cheaper and easy to myself. One of my favorite purchases I'm very glad I made as it makes the chair more functional and got rid of that chair mat. I actually like the blue color a lot, it was factor in my decision to purchase this brand. It matches my chair and new wall color, I went bold with Sherwin William's Oceanside, a very deep teal.

Great replacements, much better idea than a floor mat.
I ordered the Stealtho casters with brakes from the US to the UK, and it's not yet a full day of use to be fair but so far very happy with them, the build quality is definitely better than anything remotely similar that I've seen still available over here, some stores had Stealtho supplies in the UK in the past but they sold out many months ago before I knew of them and don't seem to be importing new stock, but it does look like they should last a lot longer than others making the import still worth while, obviously if they fail unexpectedly I will be very unhappy after risking the premium. Using on a hard floor with an original old Aeron chair. Carefully use a large screwdriver or similar to gently lever the old casters straight out, and just push the new ones in. They're non-marking and give freedom of how to arrange things that a protective floor mat just does not give and going on reviews finding a good mat would be a costly lottery too, these seemed to be by far the more sensible option. On a clean hard floor these will move very easily with a slight touch, you can even spin the whole 5 wheel stand underneath you, so you will want to use the breaks if you don't want to move, the braking casters should be placed opposite each other to function properly. Be warned IKEA chairs need a different caster pin size, all 'generic, fits all' casters for sale are for most chairs *except* IKEA, you have to buy casters labelled IKEA specific for their chairs instead. Edit: Updated comments on moving, also the only thing I would have preferred, would have been at least one more caster with a brake or even just all of them. As you move around the base spins, which can leave one or even both out of reach at the back, so a little annoying if you swap between mobile and locked down often and have no problem bending to the sides or front, you can spin the base while seated still but it would just be easier not to have to.

Disappointed
I received my new casters today. Pros: easy to install, roll easily, quiet. Cons: raised the star base too high and now the base hits cabinets and is damaging them. Was told it would NOT increase the height. The casters roll easily but they do not swivel with the same ease. Difficult to control movement of chair, especially if a change in direction is desired. This problem exists both when the chair is occupied or empty. When sitting on chair, and trying to roll into a position, it feels like the wheels are in some sort of rut or groove and will move only front and back, not to the side. Again, rolls easily but does not seem to swivel properly. It is like being stuck in the gutter. The ONLY reason I changed the casters was because it was too tedious and time consuming to remove the hair and debris from the dual wheeled plastic casters that came with the drafting chair. That impeded the rolling of the chair but it swiveled fine and was easy to control and position. The NEW Stealtho wheels may roll fine but I need much better swivel for positioning the chair. The added height to the star base is a HUGE problem.

Nice upgrade to stock wheels.
Wheels are durable, have had them for years now. Instalation is self explaintory. Sometimess the breaks can catch, so if you don't need breaks, might be better to go with the version without breaks. Used it on my Secret Lab Titan chair. Definitely an upgrade from the default wheels.

BEST WHEELS EVER!
These are the best wheels I've ever used on my chairs! They're silent...and SO SMOOTH!!!! My old wheels have torn up my studio's hard wood floors and I'm having to redo the floors now. A client recommended these wheels and I'm in LOVE!!!! I've now since purchased the wheels for every chair in my studio!!! I originally bought the ones without stoppers. I ended up having to buy these 2 sets with stoppers because the chairs are SO SMOOTH now, that any incline or unleveled floor will make your chair come sliding into someone else's workspace. LOL My poor apprentice's chair keeps running into me while I'm working when she gets up out of her chair. So, I'm upgrading the chairs in the Tattoo room to avoid getting bumped into by her "phantom chair" while I'm tattooing. If my floor was level...I wouldn't have this problem. These new wheels solved that issue! These wheels have also been great over long cords. I've had to replace tattoo machine clip-cords in the past because my chair's old wheels would cut them up every time I accidentally ran them over. As you can also see by my second photo, my old wheels have caused the floor's finish to peel up and come off...forcing me to have to redo the floor's finish. These new wheels will protect your hardwood floors and keep them looking FABULOUS! So, if anything above applies to you...then these wheels will be your saving grace! They also GLOW IN THE DARK...so when the lights go out, you won't trip over them! I love them!!!

Replaced wheels on 15 year old Aeron chair...love'em!
I've been on the hunt for a set of replacement wheels for an ageing but excellent Herman Miller Aeron chair and I found them in the Stealthco wheels. I tend to play video games late at night and wanted quiet wheels that could roll over instead of snagging loose cables in a gaming setup. I also wanted lockable wheels to prevent the chair rolling when setup behind a steering wheel. Stealthco ticked all of the boxes, so I didn't hesitate to pull the trigger. It took maybe a minute or two to replace the Aeron old wheels and the Stealthcos are a match made in gaming heaven! They're silent, glide easily and the chair doesn't move at all when locked in place. As an added bonus, I've ditched the plastic floor protector that tended to slide around on my wooden floorboards - there's no way these wheels are capable of scratching the surface. Love'em...thank you Stealthco!

Upgrade over stock plastic castors.
I recently bought a Staples Hyken chair, and while I generally love it, the stock plastic caster wheels were bad. They didn't swivel particularly well, and I'd often find one of them dragging sideways along my laminate floor instead of gliding along it, even when there's no one sitting in it. These are a big upgrade! The difference is night and day. They swivel well, they're much quieter than any stock plastic casters I've come across, and they glide effortlessly. The rubber wheels will be less likely to scuff my laminate compared to plastic ones as well. Swapping them out was also effortless, literally a 2 minute job. I just wish they were available in different colours. It's a purely cosmetic thing, so it's not enough to really dock it any points in the review, but the dark blue/green colour definitely clashes with my mostly red and black chair. For most, this definitely isn't a big deal, and it's definitely a dark enough colour that at a quick glance, you could mistake them for being black. But the kind of people willing to spend the money on these are probably the same kind who have a very particular colour scheme for their PC and office set up. Having black, clear, or red options would be pretty nice. Overall though, these are worth the purchase, and an improvement over the stock castors for my chair in pretty much every way.

Nicht kaufen!!!
Keine Kaufempfehlung! Ein klassisches Designed in USA, made in china Produkt. Aber wirklich schäbig. Hauptsache man hat 3x patentiert auf die Verpackung geschrieben.

Brakes work great for sim racing. Keep me in place
I bought these specifically because I needed wheels with locks and I do sim racing so I didn't want to move around at all when braking (in the car) during a race. These have been successful so far. The quality of the wheels is great and they are quiet as well. Rolling around is easy but due to the blade style of the wheels you may get some slight resistance in a direction you choose depending on what direction the five wheels are currently facing. Not a deal breaker by any means. Keep in mind this set only comes with two wheels that have locks, but as I said previously, they do great keeping me in place when sim racing.
