Fantastic guitar for the money, I absolutely love it. Playability is top notch
This thing plays smoother out of the Box than my 90's RG. The guitar was set up perfectly with no bad or sharp frets and super low action. There is no hint of fret buzz and this thing plays as effortlessly as a more premium Ibanez. It is super light, but not cheap feeling. The Bridge pick-up has a big, lush tone that is on the clean side, but sounds great when you add some gain. The tuners are good quality, better than the tuners on my Wolfgang standard. I also love that you can split the neck pick-up into a single coil, it gives this guitar a lot of versatility in tone. Volume and tone knobs are perfect, slightly loose, but not too loose and the pickup selector is in a perfect spot and does not feel cheap. Keeping this thing in Tune right out of the box was a bit of a hassle at first. If you think it is going out of tune on you, it is not, the Low E and A strings get hung up in the plastic nut and put the entire guitar out of whack, just give them a yank, and Boom, the guitar is back in tune. My advice on a cheaper bridge like this is to get a heavier tremsprings so it comes back to rest on the body and does not float, this will fix the issue with the strings getting hung up in the nut after bends and bar dives. After that it is super reliable and stays in tune. The Gio is a very versatile guitar with decent hardware. You could upgrade to a seymore DunconHB-102 in the bridge if you want to dig a little more sustain out of it. If I had one quibble, this guitar is that notes die off after about 6 seconds on high gain., . otherwise, This is the perfect practice guitar for a beginner intermediate, or even an advanced player who wants to get a taste of the Ibanez sauce without dropping a ton of money.

Ibanez GRGA120QA Sunburst Guitar
My grandson has been learning to play guitar and has been practicing for several years now and I have seen his progression. I knew it was time for and upgrade so for his 16th birthday I got him this Ibanez Gio GRGA120QA Transparent Black Sunburst Guitar. He absolutly loves it and wont put it down. It sounds great and looks great with the high output infinity R pickups. The neck is Maple with New Zealand Pine Fingerboard. It is perfect for beginner or intermediate guitar enthusiast. The color and sound is beautiful and it stays in tune after long hours of practice and play. I highly recomend this Ibanez guitar !

Great quality and playablity for the price!
I love it! I had a very nice Ibanez Artist guitar decades ago but it was stolen. I couldn't afford a high priced guitar and hoped this lower priced version from Ibanez would be as easy to play as my old Artist. It did not disappoint! I neglected playing for decades and over the years got weaker and have some arthritis. This guitar keeps calling to me and I'm getting stronger and better again!

Great Guitar
Great value guitar but beginner beware. The floating bridge is really cool to have, but changing strings and tuning can be difficult if you are just getting started. Feels great, not too heavy and has a really nice finish to it.

Doesn't matter the price, Ibanez are always solid!
It's Ibanez! It may be a lower tier mid level guitar.. Still sounds and plays very well. And for the price I paid I'm not complaining. Definitely better than and lame ass Fender or Gibson out there. Those guitars look like donkey ass!

Despite the bad reviews this is a solid guitar.
This guitar is perfect. The one shown is slightly different than the one I got but It is way better than I expected. The sound of the guitar has a lot of character and with how the bridge is set up it can feel how you hold the guitar and def makes you feel connected to what you're playing. I can explain well enough how much character this guitar has. I highly recommend as a budget guitar for pros or as a solid beginners guitar. I also recommend getting the rushhead max pocket headphone amp with it.

Fret buzz
Name Asia: I am new to the Ibanez brand and was disappointed when I found out the strings buzz when plucking, this is without any fingers on the frets. It would be nice to get a replacement.

Ibanez Black Knight BKN 120.
I’ve always wanted the Black Knight model, I love it, and it sounds amazing, especially after getting the fret adjusted.
