ordered the 20 footer -- be forewarned tho -- as with some of the reviews on amazon for this product - the female end is loose - male end appears to be ok. good connection on the male end with both Yamaha receivers - i shake the female end and there is some play on the insertion and out - about a few millimeters of in and out but i didn't experience any signal loss or drops in either channel. time will tell if it gets too loose at some point that the channels would come drop signal.the 20 foot cable doesn't suffer from decreased power/signal from the amp even with the extender and the long chord from 2 beyerdynamic (770 and 880 pros - coiled cables - both 250 ohms) and the even longer length sennheiser 650s -so far sounds good and like i said the only thing that seems suspect is the looseness from the female end.thanks for reading.

it works, but the connectors i got were too loose and that causes the audio to break up when i move them cable, i wanted to be able to use this cable causally without having to baby it, it's much stronger than the 3.5mm cord i was using before, but the fit of the connectors is just a bit too bad to just plug in and forget about.if you're using this for the hifi audio i would recommend spending a bit more and getting a higher quality cable.

Seem to have been well made, but the cable I received was dead on arrival. Only one side of my headphones would play sound didn’t matter where you put the headphone plug into the female side. Push it all the way in or slid it out some I never could get but one side to play. My headphones play just fine with out this cable so apparently the cable was bad. Sent the cable back the same day to Amazon, which they refunded my money that day. I didn’t ask for a replacement cable, if this one was bad another one might be ok but fail in the long run.

The female end doesn’t make decent contact with my headphone plug, causing either only one side to actually receive audio. That’s best case scenario. Most of the time it just doesn’t work. Only reason I’m not giving it one star is that when it does actually somehow line up and work, there’s no distortion or static, so at least something was built correctly. I’d skip this cable if you’re looking at it.

My husband asked me to order this cord (cuz I'm the one with Amazon prime) and it's just right for his needs. It adds the perfect extra length to his curly-cord vintage 1970's headphones so he can listen on his high school stereo (also purchased in the 1970s!) while sitting anywhere in our family room. He's blissing out on musical nostalgia! So, the cord does its job and arrived very quickly.

My headphone Audeze LCD2 Classic does not have long enough cable to reach from the amplifier to my couch so I ordered the extension cable. I like it , now reach to the couch and I can use the headphone comfortably. Sound quality Good, only 1 problem has, both side the connection should be tighter. A little bit lose both end, at the amplifier 6.5mm and at the headphone 6.5mm connector also. It does not disconnect itself but I found it kinda lose. Both connections should be tighter.

Doesn't work at all. Have to fidget around with the female connection to even get any form of a signal to come through. Would have actually paid to NOT have this at all (this only offered false security that I had a working extension cable, and I would have otherwise purchased a different brand's and been ready for my recording session). Shameful it's even sold to be honest.

I use this as an extension cord for my headphones. Works well, no apparent signal loss. Sound quality is the same with or without the cord.
