Wicked EdgeBlank Leather Sharpening Strops Pack, WESTRP00

These strop's work great when used with a diamond emulsion formula I have both wicked edge 2 ,4 mircon and the jende .5 and 2 micron and when used correctly you can get a very sharp mirrored edge with out using diamon lapping films. The way to use them is to use a 2° less angle then the angle or your knife so if you use 20° for your edge then you strop at 18° it makes a huge difference. I own kangaroo leather( not needed) and nanocloth strops and really I see no need for either one unless your going for a very refined mirrored edge

WOW! Thumbs up to anything Wicked Edge. it is an AWESOME sharpening system. simply put "the best there is" its not the fastest but results are repeatable and very impressive and its hard to screw up a stroke . Their stuff just works. and OMG is an knife sharp when it comes off this thing. Wicked edge products seem expensive but the the results out weigh that. Once you use it you won't think about the price anymore. It leave a perfectly control bevel no matter the angle you want to use on your edges. Form Fit and Function. are Amazing on every thing I have seen from Wicked Edge. Very nice products

I use a different compound on each side of the strops. That way I get 2x the use for the $$.

If you want a mirror edge on that knife, you are gonna need the leather strops ! Buy 2 sets with the 2 and 4 micron coatings, and make sure you decrease the angle by at least 1 degree from what you sharpened the edge at or you will cut these strops ! You spent the money on the Wicked Edge. You took the time to put a razor sharp edge on that knife. You might as well finish it with a mirror finish !

Used as final stage to sharpen blade. Works very well for finishing up.

I like the leather. But I prefer the balsa. I end up using these and finishing with the balsa wood. These are well made and I would but these again

It's excellent for using other compounds to strop your knives..I'm using a bark river white & black compounds to strop my bark river knife collection..

Useable, not amazing, I would spring for the kangaroo leather
