Mesh Dog Harness, Large, Red

I ordered this harness for my 9lb Carkie (Yorkshire Terrier/Cairn Terrier mix). The size chart recommend an xsmall. When it arrived I could not fit his head through the head opening which is not adjustable. I returned the xsmall and ordered a small and medium. The small would not fit over his head. Luckily, the medium fits perfectly! I recommend you size up and purchase 2 different sizes and return the one that doesn't fit.The harness is comfortable for my dog and has an adjustable strap around the chest. The meah is quality made and is breathable. You can't beat it for the price. I ordered an additional medium so I have a spare if this one gets ruined. I would recommend this product just be cautious about what size you're buying.

I bought this harness in a large for my adult wiener dog because his chest grew too large for a medium harness. The large fits him really well and I think he prefers the mesh fabric over a traditional harness with straps only. I was initially worried that the neck park of the harness would be too big because it's not adjustable but it ended up being perfect. The only downside is that the mesh fabric collects shedding hair but that's not really a deal breaker for me. We ordered the green one and the color was true to it's picture online. The price was excellent, I haven't seen one priced this well in the stores. Would recommend, especially to wiener dog owners that are having a hard time finding a harness to accommodate a large chest, lol : )

I received the harness in a timely fashion. After having read the previous reviews I ordered a size medium for my 15 pound pug mix. The neck area of the harness is not adjustable, only the chest area. The harness I chose for Wylie fits perfectly and the change in his disposition is amazing. He now is so much more calm and more pleasant to be around. Whereas he used to walk me, I now walk him at a much calmer pace. Having adopted him as an adult dog I was anxious to get a hold of something to aid in training him and this harness is it!!Edit: It's now 2 months later and Wylie has gained 5 pounds due to all of our walking (all in his chest). His sized medium harness is still totally in fine shape but I've ordered him a size larger as I think he's gotten a bit big for the size medium. This harness is in no way designed for anything larger than what I consider a small dog. At 15 pounds it fit him fine but at 20 pounds it's drawing up and looking a bit too short for him.

I decided to try a harness just for fun. The size just barely fit my over sized (11lb) pomeranian rescue but i notice the the cloth part wasnt quite long enough so the fabric kept brushing up against the armpit area of my dog. I used it anyways but my dog got a mat on right on the arm area and he never looked very comfortable. Needless to say I stopped using it and went back to t he old simple collar. It's possible that the medium size would have fit better but there's no way I'm paying to return. One star off for not having an adjustable length. I guess its a trade off for having the breathable mesh.

I have tried several different harnesses for our Pug. The Casual Canine Mesh Harness is the perfect harness. I first ordered the Medium from a pet supply site (for more money than Amazon), but it was too snug around the neck for our pug, so I ordered the large from Amazon. The size chart is accurate, but pugs have large necks and broad chests for their small size, so are very hard to fit. The medium is perfect for our 15 pound miniature pincher. I added photos of our pug Maggie wearing the harness. It is soft, well-made, and easy to use. I highly recommend this harness for any dog. The only reason I decided to write a review and post photos is because I had so much trouble finding a good harness for the pug shape! I kept searching for best pug harnesses, and tried several different brands. This is the only one we will use. And it is a really great price on Amazon!

I bought the medium harness for my pug Mica (Meeka)not wanting to spend an arm and a leg on a new harness. She is about 16lbs, but still petite. The harness fit except for the neck area that seemed a little thick (not tight) making it hard for her to turn her head from side to side and up and down. I was afraid to get the large since the waist fit so well, so I just cut the top a little thinner and zigzag stitched it so it wouldn't unravel...it seems to be a perfect fit now!

I love these harnesses, they do not go around the dogs neck so he is never choked when I have to restrain him. The one complaint that I do have is that the clasp that you can make the harness tighter around the dogs chest slips, so it has to be tightened every so often, not a big deal but still somewhat annoying. I would recommend this and would buy it again. I looked all over at Wal-mart and the pet stores and could not find these in the stores. The price is great too.

Bought this Casual Canine Mesh harness in blue size Medium for 10 lb Maltese to replace one exactly like it. Had it 2 years and it's still fine but gets grungy so I wanted a backup. Size and very good quality are the same as the one from pet store that I paid $20 for 2 years ago. Store didn't have a Medium when I went to buy another one. Price hasn't gone up in my local pet supply store. But I paid $9 for this one. Happy with the savings on the exact same product too. Wanted a green one but had to order a different brand. See the review for the Pettie brand because the sizing is different on that one.

This looks like a good product but I`ve tried twice to buy one to fit my border terrier - first with a medium size (that fit much toolarge and rubbed her shoulders) then I tried one step down to this size only it is so small that it can`t fit over her head (the product is tagged as a small but fits more like an XS. She is about 15 pounds and is of normal proportions so I`ve given up on this product!
