Pinkalicious: Pink around the Rink: A Winter and Holiday Book for Kids (I Can Read Level 1)

This Pinkalicious story purchased from Amazon turned out to be pretty darned good. I am generally not a fan of the original five of the "Pukalicious" books, so this story came as a delightful surprise. Pink-L gets the "stink eye" from her mother for coloring her brand new skating shoes with marker pens (pink of course), but in the end her mom tells her that they are "beautiful" as all modern mothers these days MUST or risk ruining her already inflated ego. Pinky, also to her surprise, is not able to easily learn to skate and suffers many falls. All in all, it is an interesting story with realistic features and, of course, a happy ending.

A very cute book for my 6 year old, ice skating granddaughter. Perfect for her reading level. Cute story with a happy ending of course! Would recommend it!

had to buy this book as a replacement for the one I lost at the library the only problem was this one is a paperback and the one I lost was a hardback other than that this is a great book and my daughter loves all of them

My daughter loves these books!

My six year old daughter enjoyed this book and gave it 5/5 stars! In the story, Pinkalicious colors her new white skates pink with a marker, and then they drip and swirl pink all over the ice and her skates. Pinkalicious is upset at first but then enjoys the pinkness, and so did my daughter! Cute story.

Very easy for my daughter to read and the illustrations are beautiful. She is in kindergarten and is starting to read and was so excited to read this book.

Pinkalicious series of books are very interesting for little girls. I saw the twinkle in my daughter's eyes as she was reading the story. Awesome print and picture quality. Good for level 1 readers.
