Curls Kinksandco Half Wig-Rain Maker, 1 JETBLACK

I first purchased this wig (Rainmaker) in 2020 when it was really popular - I loved it then and still love it to this day. It does appear to be a bit shinier than I remember and not as dense but still a great wig and if styled right, it looks very natural. Each time I wear this wig I receive compliments on my hairstyle/overall look! The volume is decently full; it’s not a super big curly wig but dense enough that it can be worn as an every day work wig (depending on your profession) and even to church or on a date. I just blow out my leave out on the cool setting, put a little moisturizing cream on my hair and then use flexi rods overnight to help my hair blend with the wig. Yes, the more you manipulate the wig you will experience shedding but it’s very, very minimal and doesn’t happen often. I did not smell an odor when I opened the wig. If you do, I’d just suggest unpacking it and hanging it outside on a mild, non-windy, non-rainy day for a few hours to air it out. It’s easy to put on, adjust and finger-style. I would not comb it with a comb or brush; using your fingers only to separate the curls should be good enough. For this wig to be synthetic hair, it’s a great wig that can last you some weeks if stored and cared for properly. Do NOT sleep with the wig on! I only wish they made this wig in M280 (black with a few strands of silver) to mimic my natural hair color. I will definitely purchase a few more for the fall time, as this will be one of my protective styles for the cooler seasons.

Trust me you’d want to buy this one! It’s beautiful and curly. I received so many compliments and it fits comfortably on my head. With little to no shedding and the density and thickness was perfect for my already thick hair because it actually gave scalp! I wore it for about a month but it’s hot in Louisiana so I had to give it a break because it did start to make me feel over heated.

It doesn’t look like the picture but it’s nice. I was expecting shoulder length but it’s bob length on me 🤷🏾‍♀️ I cut my hair a bit because it’s longer than the wig. The curls are very Shirley temple 😂 I tried to separate them as much as I could. Overall, it’s cute, I’ve worn it every day for the past three weeks and it still looks good. It gives Auntie, and I’m an Auntie so I guess it’s ok 👌🏾

Was worth the $25. The hair is very soft, the bob look is beyond cute. Gets tangled pretty fast, sheds a little.

This half wig looked absolutely beautiful when I first wore it—I even took pictures, and they turned out stunning! It blended nicely and gave me the look I wanted. Unfortunately, after just two uses, it started tangling badly. I handled it gently and followed the care instructions, but it still became frizzy and hard to manage. Disappointed with how quickly the quality declined.

I NEVER leave reviews but this time I had to because I was so appalled. I normally LOVE Sensationnel wigs-- they blend nicely, look good, and are affordable. However, I am sure that they just sent me a used wig. When I opened the package I noticed it was a little damaged but chalked it up to shipping. However, as soon as I opened the package I noticed a vert distinct perfume smell. When I inspected the wig, I noticed it was already frizzy at the combs and noticed that a lot of the curls were already flat. That was very uncharacteristic because the curls are normally very tight and bouncy. Upon further inspection I noticed that the plastic pieces that connect the wig to the package were gone but the holes were there, and to top it off, the little yellow thread had been cut and retied. That was it for me! I'm sending this bk ASAP and will be ordering a new one.

This is a synthetic wig so there will always be some shine but its a more realistic HALF wig for 4-type hair (coarse, coiled, extremely curly). This would be compared to how a 4c person's hair texture would be if it was silk pressed, including the amount of shine. I will warn you that this will look BEST for people with black or dark brown hair and will be impossible to match lighter hair colors. If you have darker 4c type hair that is straightened, not just blow-dried but straightened with an iron, this will be an ideal match. You would need your hair straightened because this IS a half wig, not a full wig, so some of your hair and edges need to be out. You CAN use this as a ponytail (if you're skilled enough) but you still need to have fairly straightened hair for this to blend properly. As for the wig itself, it is definitely on the full side (maybe like a 180% in hair density). It also has even body from root to ends and doesn't thin out at the ends, which is nice. It can accommodate ALL head shapes since this is a half wig. It has one band of combs in the front and then one in the back with adjustable straps too. You should not have any issue securing this wig down since it has an entire row of combs to help it stay in place. It's also very lightweight, which is fantastic for all seasons. This is the weight you wish the human hair wigs were because it would feel like nothing/feathers (besides hair combs lol). I would recommend this to dark-colored, 4-type hair people who will flat iron their hair to blend this in seamlessly​. If you don't want to add heat to your hair and don't have a straighter hair texture (or relaxer/keratin treatment) this will not blend well as it's not the same hair texture as non-straighten 4-c hair. I hope this helps and you blend this to make it look the way it's intended to be... no shade LOL :)

This was a great buy! Tangles on the back but overall good for the price.

This was not for me too thick and bulky looked like s granny wig too much curls 😭 the hair itself is ok but like I mentioned granny wig will give away since I already opened etc oh well

If you have relaxed/permed hair and are looking for something to have your hair in as it transitions back to its natural state. Then this half wig is perfect. This is my first time writing anything this long on Amazon so you know I LOVED this wig. Pros - I’m the definition of low maintenance cause I can’t use a straightener properly. But this wig held up required pretty much nothing. I used it on and off from May to July. - I got the most compliments from women cause they all thought it was my hair. It blended perfectly and I never really had to use a straightener for my hair I leave out - When I followed the instructions for maintenance (verbatim) that come with it, the pictures of me holding it up is how it looked after washing and air drying it. I was worried I might have to order it again but nope it looks perfect the curls even still held up a bit. So I’ll definitely get more wears out of it. FYI - it will shed, just like natural hair sheds expect to see it everywhere but the shedding doesn’t impact its volume significantly. So I don’t consider it a con - it will tangle. It’s synthetic, but if you brush it with a paddle brush and comb carefully like you would your natural hair. It detangles fairly easily. - I wouldn’t recommend it for like a water heavy things such as swimming or sports that will require a lot of sweat. I never tried it cause I just figured it might not be the best. But I have worked out with it and I sweat a lot but it wasn’t too bad.

Yes, its synthetic but the quality is awful! I have used other Sensationnel products and they aren't like this at all. You'll literally only get a few days use out of it because it will matt like crazy, so its a pointless purchase.
