I bought this for it’s medicinal property... my husband went to a urgent care for a lump under his skin on his face. It was hard like a marble. The dr said he would just have to live with it, nothing could be done and that was that. I took a look at it and said it looks like it might be a cell that was blocked. So I put Manuka honey in it and it started drawing out the crap inside. Within a few days it was fine! My sister was the one that told me that she had used it on her husbands painful shingles and they went away.

Having grown up with my grandma as a beekeeper, I'll admit I'm a bit of a honey snob. In saying that, Manukora Manuka honey is BY FAR the best Manuka honey I've ever had. It is so smooth, golden and rich- I can't stop eating it. Right now I'm eating it with a spoon out of the jar but I can imagine this would be delicious in coffee, on breads, ice cream, in smoothies, etc... the list goes on. This stuff is SO GOOD... and good for you! From what I've read, manuka honey has a TON of health benefits, which makes me feel better about eating it with a spoon.Also, one last thing, I love that you can trace the exact hive where the manuka was sourced from as it gives the whole process a lot of transparency and authenticity. Manukora seems like a great company, with a fantastic product, so I'd recommend wholeheartedly that people try this out!

Manuka tastes much less sweet and is much thicker than the Bay Area honey we buy here. It doesn't taste bad--just different, like the difference between wild and cultivated blueberries.It fights infection better than antibiotics and without promoting the growth of resistant infections and without the side effects that meds can generate. I use a steak knife the scoop a dab of honey after preparing the bandage and cleaning the wound with soap and water. Gently and carefully spread the honey on the wound, being sure to really seal the bottom of the dressing so you don't find yourself sticking to everything and vice versa. Don't use too much, just a thin film, or, again, honey will stick everything to you.There is at least one study showing this works. I'm a retired RN and prefer to begin with so-called "alternatives" like Manuka honey, then go to medication only if necessary.Also, adding a teaspoon to oatmeal or such increases the healing effects.The cost is worth the effects when an old body is no longer able to fight infection. Incredible!

Product reviews can be great, but they can be misleading. This one was misleading.The honey came in a very small jar, first of all.Next, if you like honey for its sweetness, it fails when you put it in tea. That means you use more. Regular honey, from my experience, does a better job in terms of sweetness. If you buy honey based on the hype alone, this brand is what you'll get. Unless you have a purist's interest in honey, stick with regular honey.

My wife suffers from chronic stomach pain and has tried many different kind of medications and herbs, family recipes etc.. After purchasing and looking for something to help her. This product is the first product that she has asked me to reorder. Real big difference in her digestive system and pain management. Comparing this honey to the local honey from my daughters (NJ) bees, the taste is different but nice. I used it when I had a cold and noticed the relief it gave to my congestion.

The honey is good. However the jar was not all the way filled when I opened it.
