I am the Chemical Queen..... I have always looked for the strongest deodorant possible. The more aluminum zirconium tetraclorahydrex gly...involved...the more interested I was. But, as I started trying to eat better (read: much more natural healthy foods), and realized that my body deserved better as well. For years I was "afraid" of natural products because I felt that they were substandard, and didn't really work as well as their chemical counterparts. Well...let me set the record straight for anyone who thinks like me...this is the best deodorant that I have ever used! No joke, the description is correct...you WILL sweat...but you WON'T stink. I was terrified when I first wore it and started feeling the wetness in my armpits. I kept doing the sniff test, but I was pleasantly surprised, like every single time...it was a fresh smell...even though I was sweating quite a bit. I am not being paid to do this review, nor did I get this product for free....I'm just a customer who reads tons of reviews in an attempt to figure out if a certain product is for me. I've been bouncing around from natural deodorant to natural deodorant. If you're here, you know that not every natural deodorant is for everyone. My sweat doesn't typically smell very bad, and I don't sweat a ton, but it was still really hard for me to find a deodorant I liked the smell of and that worked!I've tried Schmidt's (Lavender, Rose & Vanilla, and the Cucumber Lime scents) and although it was okay, I knew I could find something better. The lavender scent made me smell chemically (likely from the detox), the rose scent is just a little too food smelling and if it mixes with even remotely any sweat smell, it starts to smell like BO AND food, lol. The cucumber lime just smelled too much like a household cleaner, for me. I also tried Tom's of Maine, and it gave me a rash.So, I decided to try this one, and it has been about a week. Since I've already detoxxed from aluminum in my deodorant from when I tried Schmidt's, I got to get straight into how awesome this deodorant is. The lavender smell isn't overbearing at all. It actually doesn't smell much on me, which I like. I'd prefer to smell like my lotions or perfumes than my deodorant, but that's just me. It goes on really soft, it isn't sticky at all. And it lasts soooo long! Like I said, I'm not particularly sweaty OR smelly (and I live in SoCal where we are still hitting 90 degree days at the end of October), so take that with a grain of salt. But I gave it a test on a lazy weekend where I didn't reapply for 2 days, and I still didn't smell at the end. A+, I've found a new deodorant, and I am extremely happy.I would seriously recommend giving this deodorant a try!

The good news: this product is totally, actually, no b/s effective. The bad news: my husband and I BOTH had to stop using it, very reluctantly, because it was killing our armpits. We went through three sticks before making the difficult decision to divorce ourselves from this otherwise wonderful product. It was great at first, a total miracle product, but then after the first few weeks of the first stick onward, we both experienced swelling and a pinkish red rash accompanied by what felt like bruised armpits that were very tender and inflamed. I don't necessarily fault the product; I think some people are more sensitive to the ingredients than others and I don't think that's an inherent defect of the formula or that the company is using anything dangerous. It's worth a try to first time users because it is the most effective natural formula I've found. I think it's worth the trouble to try several different natural brands because conventional antiperspirant / deodorant contains some truly nasty stuff you shouldn't be putting into your body.I will also say that after years of using regular antiperspirant, I noticed that I started sweating more and more which was very unlike me as I don't even sweat hardly, so I bumped it up to the clinical strength stuff just to keep it at bay. After making the switch to natural deodorants for a few months, I now don't even use deodorant. I am all but convinced that conventional antiperspirants actually CREATED the problem it was supposed to remedy. So, if you're like me, maybe you can use this stuff long enough to ease your body off the harsher products ("armpit detox", google it) and then go without any product.One packaging complaint - I think the inner dispenser thing on all three of our sticks (ordered at different times) came apart or had the deodorant fall out towards the end of the tube, which left us awkwardly trying to use the disembodied nub under our arms or stuffing it back inside and holding it perfectly upright / parallel to the ground so it wouldn't fall out again. It'd be great if they can figure that out.

It was quite bad. It's a paste and melts at normal temperatures. It's not a deo stick like it says.
