7 Die Polyhedral Dice Set - Smoke (Black Pearl) with Velvet Pouch by Wiz Dice

These are handsome dice that roll pleasingly and are easy to read thanks to the high contrast between the dark pearloid grey and white inking. The only real drawback is that they feel lighter than one expects, so are ever so slightly less than perfect.

My two set of dice I purchased from Wiz Dice arrived in a timely manner with no apparent visible issues/defects upon my first casual inspection. Upon a closer inspection, the dice are smoothly polished with well-rounded edges, but seem rather on the lightweight side compared to other dice I’ve owned over the years. The color of the set is a dark marbled dark/light gray with a nice hint of shine which paired well with the other set of dice (Copper Sands ‘Brown Glitter’ also produced by Wiz Dice) I purchased along with these dice. The numbering of the dice is easily readable with the painting of the numbers mostly well painted but for some very, very minor speckles outside the etched number on just a few of the dice. The dice each arrived inside a small, velvet pouch only big enough to carry the single set of dice with the Wiz Dice logo embroidered upon the bag…I’m rather happy with my purchase of this dice set from Wiz Dice and would recommend them for anyone looking for a fair quality set of dice for a very reasonable price. A great set of dice for beginners trying their hands at tabletop role-playing or veterans looking for good dice on a budget…

The Dice look and feel fine, the numbers are very defined and easy to read, even when lighting isn't the best, so perfect for nighttime sessions. The Smoky, black finish really does a great job of making the dice look the part, while not being insanely flashy. The only real complaint I have is about the drawstrings on the velvet pouch that came with the dice. The Drawstrings have already been pulled out of place and torn after only about two weeks or so of just opening and closing the pouch. Aside from that I've got no complaints, shipped quick and in good condition.

I've got hundreds of dice from all the years I've spent gaming, so I don't really need any more. However I purchased a few sets of these specifically because I was looking for the old-style d4 (read the number at the bottom) instead of the newer style (read the number at the top).The picture of the product shows the old-style d4 but actually contains the new style instead -- which you don't discover until the product arrives. Very disappointing.Additionally, one of the bags was short one die -- you guessed it -- the d4. The dice themselves are of decent quality, however a missing die and the misrepresentation of the d4 will make me pass on any future purchases.

The design is beautiful and the ink for the numbers is very clear and solid. The dice are gorgeous, but the drawstrings for the bag they came in ripped out immediately when I tried to close it back up. Other than that, no complaints!

Perfect for my DnD games and love the color! I actually bought two sets for purposes of easing the number of times I had to roll a single die lol. Also had to be sure they were the same color due to superstition and all that 😜

I bought these as back up dice for when my normal dice are rolling poorly. I love the dice, but hate the bag they send them in. The bag is almost too small and it has the cheesiest embority of a wizard on the bag that makes it look dorky. So I crocheted a another dragon scale bag for my back up dice. I got this set to compliment a white set I have and they do just that. The dice have wonderful straight edges and the faces have correct angles. For example the faces on the D20 consist of triangles with three 30 degree corners not different shapes triangles. Very inexpensive but very high quality worth buying again and again.
