I bought them for the Tula Pink seam ripper. The original blade is very sharp; definitely keep away from children. They come individually wrapped in a foil packet. They are safely packaged until you are ready to use them. I have not needed to replace mine , yet. It is a quality product. I think you will enjoy working with this if you do a lot of ripping. I used it to widen a button hole on thick denim. It cut the button hole all too easily. Be careful!
