I bought this tape for my mom who is in assisted living. She had fallen in her bathroom about 3 weeks ago and just got out of rehab. This tape was very easy to put down and was just enough to cover the area in front of her shower, sink and toilet. It is clear and you can hardly see it. I rounded the ends as suggested in the instructions so that it will stay down better. I did go over the whole floor with alcohol before intalling it to make sure there was nothing on the floor to keep it from sticking.

So I'm not using this tape for the traditional purpose. I made a wobble balance board and needed an inexpensive non-slip surface. I applied this to the stained wood surface. My wobble board doesn't get as much use as stairs do, but the amount of force applied to the tape is much more significant - a lot more pushing and pulling by my feet, and the tape has been outstanding. It's easy to apply, has great traction, and has shown no signs of wear or pealing after several months of use.

After my husband slipped and took a fall on our spiral staircase, I ordered these for the steps. They were easy to measure, cut and install. (I did round the corners with a small round template that was included.) It doesn't come with any special installation tool, but I had a small 3" plastic squeegee that I used to press them down. You can see the strips, but they aren't too noticeable and the wood shows through. They are not uncomfortable with bare feet.We've only had them on a few days, so can't review how well or how long they hold up.

As far as adhesion, it's working fine for me but I've only had it for about a week now. I used it for steps that I have to get on and off my bed. It was a good width size for me and I liked that it came with a circle to trace if I needed to. I didn't use it in the shower but I'm thinking of putting it in our shower.

Gives anti skid traction to stairs. Cutting and pasting the strips is easy. Go for it. Can't say how long will the adhesive last and also how will the wooden stairs look after peeling the strips. For now I ain't slipping.

We got this to baby-proof our wood stairs, and it works perfectly. We wondered why we didn’t do it sooner as it turns out it helps us too. It was super easy to install, and it sticks really well.

I bought these for my status so my dogs pass wouldn't slip. They stay in place and work but catch tons of dog hair and are impossible to clean.

I bought this for the guest shower, whether for kids or older people, it is a huge safety addition. It was easy to cut and apply, it adheres, unaffected by water, and is almost invisible. I chose this brand as well for its price.
